    My 9 years old son is grading tomorrow and was looking for something like this. He said it helped him a lot. We looked for a "part 2" of this video, but could not find one. Thanks a lot for this anyway.

    I'm glad you mentioned soto-uke and uchi-uke being different at different clubs, it sure confused me when I switched!

    You have an interesting video. We call 下段払い or Gedan Barai a sweep just like you explained in this video. And we call 下段受け or Gedan Uke a downward block which the technique does not go outside of your body. Thanks for sharing.

    I'm confused, I'm guessing rising block is high block, outer block is double block, inner block is muscle block, and knife hand block is knife block. I train in Shotokan and I've never heard these terms guessing that's just your way of teaching.

    Maybe have the blocks pre-labelled so we dont need to sit here and watch you write the names of the blocks. I was trying to show this video to my son and he said it was boring watching you write rather than teach blocks.
