This is just what I needed. I'm 6'5" 300lbs and I've tried a few sleeping bags and none have been large enough. I'll be buying this one knowing it works well for you. Thanks.
6'8" here, bought this a while back and it's the first bag I've ever had that actually fit me, and I've loved it. Vaguely remember it coming with left/right zipper choice, so I think you might be able to zip two of these together!
I subbed ,liked ,and notified. I've owned Teton products for years and years. My 0*degree bag and xxl cot are over 10 years old ,and I still use both. One suggestion is buy the canvas sleeping bags they make , like mine they will last forever. As compared to the nylon. The -25 and the -35 weight in at 20 lbs , but you'll never get cold. EVER . At under $200 I don't know how you could go wrong. The one is called the Deer hunter and the other one is the Outfitter. Both are Canvas. Best money you'll ever spend . If you're older than dirt ,just get a coleman you're going out anyways. Peace.
I'm just a puny 6'5", 215 Stringbean and yet I was having difficulty finding bags. Thanks for the heads up, I will definitely be looking into this gigantic dump pouch that I could mount on the ass end of my truck.
I plan to! I have a couple more items camping related that I will be reviewing soon, and I'm researching others. What it really comes down to is just the budget to get the items, but once I save up for some of the more expensive stuff I'll be reviewing it immediately!
I'm 6'6 450lbs I'm not nearly as active as I was 100lbs ago but I still get out and im working on doing so more. And winter is my stomping ground. This video has helped me alot now just to find a good coat and boots
Love the video and Channel, 6'5", so not a freakishly tall as you.. lol. You know I am always looking for Car/Truck Reviews for taller people. Normally all I see are people that are average height reviewing them.
Yes! This is an area I would like to focus on, it's just been having the time to do it, and finding a dealership that will work with me. I'd like to find a couple vehicles that work for tall people and review them. My wife just got a new 2020 Chevy Traverse that's very roomy for long legs that I was thinking of reviewing so I'll work on that!
6'10", I never had a sleeping bag that was long enough. I finally heard about wiggy's and ordrred their 4 season bag. I've slept in it a few hundred times and it shows zero wear.
You're 6'-10", right? Western Mountaineering makes a Badger bag in a 7' size. I am 7'1" and it works perfectly. Expensive, but the best quality, lightest and most comfortable bag in all conditions that I have ever owned.
I'm trying to find sleeping bag for step son. He's about 6'2 and close to 400 lbs. Think this would be comfy enough or fit him? I'm thinking of buying him two sleeping bags, one he can fit inside another with. Just in case things get really bad this winter or whatever year things get really bad. I'm trying to put together a bug out bag for him like I have for his mom also.
I am perplexed as to how to repack the bag. I just bought one a week ago and spent 4 nights camping with it. It took a lot of effort stuffing it in the bag and I wasn't able to buckle the compression straps. My disappointment is it takes a strong burly man to pack it. My wife and daughter do not have a chance of packing one of these unless I get a larger bag. I wouldn't recommend it for sleeping above 45 degrees F.
So I had room to spare in it but I’m a 2XLT. Without seeing your proportions it’s tough to say. Although I feel that you would fit, you might feel a bit constricted while in it
I would recommend it because while this one is huge, when you have a big body there really just isn't room for a second person, no matter how small they are.
I'm a tall 5'6. I guess that bag is too big for me. I do need a wide bag though, because I'm fat. I'm not sure if 39 inches width would be comfortable for me. I have a 36-in wide Cabela's bag that is a real hassle for comfort. I feel like I'm wearing my sleeping bag. I've been thinking about the double wide but that seems like too much extra sleeping bag. Any suggestions?
So it seems that it's either 39" or over 60" for sleeping bags, lol. But I did find one that is 40", and also only 82" long so less sleeping bag. I have a pretty big chest and mid section and 39" is very comfortable for me, so maybe the 40" would do well for you. Might be worth trying, and can always return if it doesn't work! I'll keep my eye out for wider sleeping bags that are not meant for two people. www.amazon.com/dp/B00GV3YSOO/ref=emc_b_5_t
@@FreakyTallReviews Hey Freaky, respectfully, I found a 50" wide by at Sportsman's Guide called "the hunter" but I question the quality. It had some workmanship issues but I'm sure it would last me as I don't have many car camping trips left. I doooo love to go camping. Thanks for your reply and interest. Happy trails to you. RJ Smith

Definitely going to take a look at canvas bags and that one specifically, thanks for the tips!

Glad you enjoyed! I plan on expanding camping/hiking equipment soon now that winter is passed so stay tuned!

So, what backpack works best for this sleeping bag? 🤔🤔🤔
I'm looking at the XL, just because I'm fat, but not tall. Should do.
Let me know how it works out for you!

This won’t work but I understand that it will work for most...as always....great review!
I appreciate it! you're starting to make me feel more normal because I know it's 10x as difficult for you finding stuff!
Freaky Tall Reviews you are normal, bro :)
I'm subscribing even though I'm very short compared to all people here :b
Everyone is welcome!
I'm 6'4 so this thing should cover my head.
Can you zip 2 of these together?
Great video, Does it have a double zipper for ventilation at your feet
Thank you! So unfortunately it does not, and only zips from the top.
I bought a right and left zip just last week. It does have a double zipper. Maybe it's something new?
Kewl a warm phone pocket
