Glad this has helped. Thank you for your feedback 😊
UNCLE ROGER would say, "Spider too much like col-an-der." :)
That’s hilarious! 🤣 Now I’m thinking of ways to get a colander into my ‘wee-deos’ so that he roasts me 😅👍👍👍
@@ChowWithLau You can be "colander f***-boy!"
And if you can find a way to use a colander to make chili jam ...
Thanks I will be picking up these utensils.Piece
Hi Pat - that’s great! Enjoy your stir frying 😊
Thanks for the tips! We have them all, and use them all, except the only extra thing we use on the daily are extra big wooden chopsticks.
I now really want an oversized pair of chopsticks! Thanks lol! :)
Thanks!
Thank you so much, Dinah! You are so kind! ❤
Thank you :)
You’re welcome! 😊
TY 🌻 new wok owner ...I see is a major production from seasoning the wok to this 😊
You're welcome! Hope this video has helped. Thanks for watching 😊
THANK YOU MAN#
You’re welcome! Hope you found it helpful 😊
in the street cooking videos, they use the ladle for everything, including shovel and strainer jobs
That’s interesting! Thanks for watching 😊
Hi what wok brand etc do u prefer or recommend
Hi Dinah - If you want a steel wok this is my favourite and the one I am using in this video amzn.to/3oHPSyW It's really easy to season and maintain. It's not the cheapest but it cooks really well.
But if you prefer a non-stick wok this Scoville one is the best I have used. The non-stick coating seems to last longer than most amzn.to/3njJlIi
Hope that helps :)
my family use a spatula to smash the rice and get rid of the clumps
Whatever works for you is good with me! The ladle is perfect for me as it’s the right size and weight. It’s also perfect for using with a steel wok as it scoops up rice and other ingredients very easily.
Keep on wokking! 😊
Does it scratches the wok? Mine scratches my season :( should smooth it out with a sandpaper? Or am I missing something? I do really like using metal utensils when using my wok. Btw, I have ny carbon steel wok for about a month now and I cook almost everyday with it. Thank you for the video btw..
Mine don’t scratch the seasoning. I think the longer you use your wok, the stronger the seasoning gets. Your wok is still quite new so it’ll take a bit more time.
Glad you’re enjoying your wok cooking and thanks for watching 😊🙏🙏🙏
Noted, thank you so much for the response 💖😊
@@xenux123 You’re welcome! Enjoy your cooking and if you want to show me your dishes please find me on Facebook - Chow With Lau. Would be happy to see them 😊
What size wok for apartment with electric stove??
Depends on how many you’re cooking for. For 1-4 people I would get a 12 inch wok. If you cook regularly for more than 4 people then maybe a 13 or 14 inch wok.
Hope that helps 😊
Most of this equipment isn't available anymore. Also not for US buyers.
Apologies. The stock seems to fluctuate and Amazon does not inform me so it's impossible to keep track. If you look up wok utensil set on Amazon you should find very similar items. Obviously check the reviews, but I think most of them are good quality. Hope that helps :)
