I don't know if this is a coincidence, but I've been very sad the past few months concerning a pair of shoes. My family is from Sweden and on my 16th birthday i was gifted by my grandmother, a pair of swedish clogs. They were beautifully hand painted leather clogs with the traditional wooden soles. I had them all my life and wore themoften. (im 60 now) and took good care of them. Recently i had to move and somehow, during this move, a few boxes were lost. My clogs were in one of those boxes. My grandmother has been gone long since, and those darn clogs ment alot to me. Am i being silly or what, missing those shoes like this. Your story was very interesting. Thank you for sharing your time and talent.
❤ sad to lose mementos from those we have lost. Not silly at all. Maybe you could purchase something that reminds you of the ones you lost? Maybe a little art piece or magnet? What was painted on your pair of clogs?
Absolutely not silly. Those traditional Swedish clogs are beautiful, and you had them so long. Maybe in this instance, it would be a blessing for your old shoes to come back to you 🙏✨
@@empowers1895 I didn't see your last question about what was painted on the clogs. It was traditional swedish Tole art which is hand painted florals with vines and leaves.
The only channel watching which I feel no resistance. The way you share your knowledge is so gentle and non-invasive. With your help I'm starting to understand the point and the value of story-telling as of a thing.
Thank you. Your videos are like church for me. A little lesson to work on for the week or sometimes longer. I never would have lit on the karma part without the explaining. In astrology feet represent the soul. The awakening of the anima, remembering who she is.

Such a delicious tale and story telling. This year I have made the decision to take of some old shoes. It may take a few months as they have been wedded to my feet for many years and served me well. However the reality is that they have been wearing out and it is time to finally remove them. Can't wait to feel like what my new pair of shoes will be like, though of course some of the embroidery and themes will pass on. 😉
Great story ❤🎉 didn’t mean to be mysterious about the Wood near Ashburton. Don’t have cash to give so wanted to gift that wood. It’s very magical and no-one knows of it. I would like to think it will inspire a story. I am a fellow Martin Shaw vision Quester and hearing you mention him, after already being joyed by you work. Anyway much love and god bless.
Hello! Sounds amazing, would love to know about it. Hoping to spend more time in Devon this year. You can always write to me on instagram at TheFolkBus to share info if it’s secret 😉🙏✨🌳
Thank you, will do this eve sir. Ah I’m not on but will find you on Patreon. Sure I can send a message there? Man I live Devon. Used to live above Totnes on a hill. Good times
Well it's a karma story if he did choose to change his greedy & self centered ways & live a more caring & compassionate life - but if he just remained the same as before - then nothing has changed & that's def. not how karma works.
Thanks for watching. So ‘Karma’ just means action or ‘deed’ and refers to the impersonal and unavoidable mechanic of cause and effect behind every action. Nothing really inherently moralistic about it… Although in this story, of course, Abu Kassem does change his ways ☺️
If no part of the slipper was the same as the original, surely they are not the same slipper, as with Greek mythology’s Ship of Theseus. According to folklore, both tales were inspired by Trigger’s Broom in Only Fools and Horses.

Love the clarification at the end! Thanks for the wonderful story once again!
I think what I love the most about these tales is the laughter in amongst it all. It adds so much more to the telling 😂 brilliant!

In the army there used to be a saying that old sweats would say to the newbies, I was in Baghdad before you was in your dad's bag.
😂 love it
@TheStoryCrow I knew you'd be amused.
It is not the shoes, it is the steps they take.
