I watched a ton of other RUclips channels on the issue and talked to people on the various Himalayan forums. I was never able to fully solve the issue and I eventually just got rid of the bike. I did talk to some people who said they were able to finally fix the issue by having their dealer reflash the onboard computers, but I never tried that. If you do a search on RUclips for Himalayan TPS adjustment, you should find a lot of videos. I like @ontwowheelsben and you can find his channel here: ruclips.net/user/ONTWOWHEELSBEN
Did you notice your Engine Management light was starting on at first, when you dialed 7 And engine was running? Then you dialed 4 and your engine light went out? I've just fitted a Fuel X Lite, (no adjustment), and my Engine Management light remains on when the bike is running (on my Interceptor 650), the bike is running smoother than ever, An i have a Hunter 350 I've fitted a Fuel X Lite to, with no issues at all? Anything you can tell me, Before I take it into my Royal Enfield dealer? Cheers Paul 👍
Give it a few revs when you start it.. I put the fuel x on mine, increased the idle and did the TPS voltage adjustment and it starts easily, idles, and cold starts with just a few revs. My fuel x is set at 7.
The last few times that I've ridden it that is exactly what I have done. I still think my idle is a bit too low, but I have it as close to working as intended since I've owned the bike. I did about 100 miles yesterday and played around with the fuel settings (DNA kit is currently installed) and found that setting 5 reduced the amount of popping I was getting when I was decelerating/downshifting.
let the fuel x stabilise when you first switch it on ( 2 bursts of flashes). i never touch mine till its done with its boot up flashing. i only go up down maps 1 at a time. not sure how you know which map you are actually on. Mine runs perfect on all maps even from cold. So i think you have something else wrong there.
I keep track of which map it's running by counting the flashes. I have it set to 7 at the moment since that's what Fuel X seems to recommend for people running aftermarket air filters and I'm running the DNA kit. I haven't done an update yet since I've been having internet issues, but I was able to figure out what the factory idle setting was. I went back to that and tweaked it just a bit and it has been doing better. The bike will still not start and idle on the first try, so I have been doing what other people have told me and that is to apply some throttle right after starting. If I apply some throttle for a few seconds to keep the revs up, it will then idle OK. I don't think the idle is 100% where it needs to be, so the next time I need to get under the tank for something I'm going to adjust it again. All that being said, it's been running OK once I get it going. I've done a few day trips of over 100 miles with no issues (knock on wood).
I have this same issue, how do i find info about the TPS voltage adjust and idle adjust?

No, I never had that light come on with mine, sorry I can't help anymore than that. :(

Thanks for letting me know 👍

TPS adjustment and the air bleed for idle setting.
I did all of that, trust me :) I got rid of it two days ago for something else and I'll be doing an update shortly.
Humm, fuelx here no problem starting.
How is your plug?
Fuel and grade?
All I can get is 91.
Idle speed is high on my KTM.
Hope you get it dialed in.
I've gotten it dialed in about as good as I can get it and I really need to go back and make an update video (which I suck at anyway) :)
what is the outside temp
I honestly don't remember, but it was warm. I've since gotten rid of the bike though - I'm going to do an update today or tomorrow.
