Snorkeling is hard!!! Well at least here when I can't really get to the bottom and I'm being dragged all over by the current. It was so much fun though and what a treat to see that manatee! Thank you for coming along with me!
Oh my heart; as a sea glass hunter (mostly in Maine) who has only found two pieces of sea glass so far in SWF, it made me sad for you to toss that piece of glass into the garbage (at 19:50 in the video). Tried to look closely at it and it seemed to have started getting rounder edges/didn’t appear to have sharp edges that would hurt feet. Over the many years of sea glass collecting, if it isn’t ready, I often just throw it back in so that, some day, it will come back frosted and beautiful and another collector will find it. What’s weird is that I have cut my foot on the sharp edge of a broken shell, though. That aside, love this video, your finds and the exciting experience of “swimming with a manatee”, however briefly! What fun. Thanks for beautiful and uplifting content! I so appreciate it.
I can't tell you how happy I am that you left a comment. I was going through my settings one day and I thought I accidentally blocked you! There was no way for me to find you again, but that ztag1p is now burned in my brain. Yay - I didn't block you! Ok, now on to the serious stuff - the beach stuff... I (now) always wear beach shoes and I don't know why but I envision some kid getting their feet cut on the glass so I always, always pick up the glass on the beach and put it in the recycling bucket. I have found about 3 pieces of actual sea glass and all of it was on Sanibel. Those pieces I kept ☺️ Oh the manatee made my day. I wonder how many other people it delighted as it swam down the coast...

Yes, Virginia, that is a sea robin! And the Manatee is nothing to sneeze at. So wonderful to see that. I did get to see one in Tampa Bay a few years ago. The two pieces of black are fragments of sharks teeth. Some ancient sharks ate clams and had grinding teeth, not just the fang type. The shark tooth at 22:55 is a sand shark tooth with the very end broken off.
This beach is just awesome. Critters, shells, teeth - and I got to experience a little of everything. Thanks for the sand shark tooth ID. Those I know - the other more worn down ones, not so much. But I did keep everything and it's a good thing. I would have been bummed if I had left those teeth at the beach!
It was amazing. I stood there for a few and said to myself, "I can't believe that just happened!" Then I was nervous that I wasn't able to film any of the critter but at least I caught a little of it. What a fun day!

I totally agree, Jenny! Definitely shark's teeth! You were right near Venice beach, so not surprised you found shark teeth! There are sooo many there! My dad took my family there years ago and we found tons of them! It was very exciting, but also scary why there were that many prehistoric sharks teeth there?! Lol! ) : It kept us out of the water at that beach because of it! Lol! ( :

Not me - I was neck deep in water AND snorkeling when I did go to look for shark teeth the first time we went. It's a good question though as to why there are so many teeth in that area 🤔
I know right! my mom who has passed away had a collection from all the different places she had been to I did not know what half of them were till I found this channel : ) awesome lady knows her stuff I learn so much here!
Shark tooth expert here - everything you found was a shark tooth. Congratulations! That manatee was fantastic! I'll be in your area shell hunting this Fri-Sun. Wish me luck!
Thank you shark tooth expert! I am really shocked those first ones I was finding were indeed shark teeth. I'm glad I kept them! And sending you all sorts of beachcombing luck - I hope you find everything you're looking for!

Absolutely love watching! We went Sannibel island this week. I actually had awesome day with additional visitor showed up.. manatee and dolphin stopped by at Light house beach. Was great day! ❤️😊
Wow! What an awesome encounter. So glad you were able to catch a bit of it. I look forward to your videos every week. They are therapy for my overloaded brain. Thank you!!!
Beach time is always the best time ! Always looking forward to Sunday night just to enjoy looking at all the beautiful treasures the beach has to offer and learning about all the shells and the critters 🐚🦞😎🏖
That was a fabulous beach trip! Definitely a great day for Turkey Wings and even Mossy Arcs, and congratulations on swimming with a Manatee! That was amazing.
I've been to this beach before, when I was able to get to Florida, and those all are sharks teeth. I found so many while I was there. Over 70. Some very tiny, but still teeth. Some where even brown. Thanks for the trip
I was reading about shark teeth and apparently they can come in a few different colors. I'm going to do a little more research before I go shark tooth hunting again. Thanks so much for watching!
I visited that beach many times earlier this year and had found your channel at that time. Hearing your pleasant voice makes it easier to identify my shells.
Goodmorning, Sharmon 😎 A lot of great sea gems! But, I've got to tell you, I'm crazy for the Giant Atlantic Cockles. I don't know why, but they are always intriguing (actually I love all shells), and their coloration and patterns are never disappointing. Cut Ribbed Arks are also very cool. Florida Fighting Conchs are always a fantastic find. Oh heck, all shells are on my favorite list. But, but, my hunt for the elusive & gorgeous Wentle Trap will never stop. Many thanks for taking us along 😊
You sound just like me! There are some shells I like more than others, but they really all have a certain charm to them. I'm ready to find some wentletraps too - I might try my luck again this week! I hope you find one too!
Seeing a manatee! What a fabulous experience! I'm happy for the wonderful times you have at the beach. The turkey wings are pretty. It's a great teaching time when you compare them with the mossy arks. That beach covered with prettily colored shells was delightful. Thank you, Sharmon, for the great beach trip. Always looking forward to the next one, and the junonia!
I know there are not as many shells to be found this time of year, but I get so much more curious about all the other neat things out there so I really don't mind. I love the hunt and there always seems to be SOMETHING interesting to admire!
I love the manatees! They are such gentle giants. So cool you got to see one that close! I want one of those grate things. I like sifting through the sand and finding tinies. The floating grates are perfect for that.
Hi Sharmon! Another great night of watching your adventure. Oh my gosh! Turkey wing heaven. Loved the big Bay scallop. One of my favorites. That is a beautiful beach. Nothing like shelling with you on a Sunday night. Those were all sharks teeth. I spent 2 weeks in Sanibel and never found one. Good to know they are in other locations. Thanks for the fun trip. Loved that sweet manatee! Have a great week! Can't wait for next sunday!
Oh yes for shark teeth you have to travel north of here. Caspersen Beach in Venice is known for the teeth, but they don't have much in the shell department so I figured this beach would be a nice change of pace. That manatee made my day!
Oh my gosh...soooo cool swimming with a manatee! And I love the turkey wings! I remember the first time I found one as a child at either Sarasota or Sanibel...I was so excited when my mom and I looked it up in our little shell book...Lol! Aaahhh...fond memories. I believe I took home a ton of the pretty little scallops and coquinas.
Oh you were lucky to find sea shells as a kid. Growing up in NJ I was never inspired by anything we found. Once I discovered the beaches down here I was hooked! And I'm starting to really find an appreciation for the tiny shells. There's so much to admire with just one trip to the beach ❤️
@@SWFBeachLife Yes...I grew up in Indiana but we took several vacations to SWF. My aunt and uncle owned a few condos on Sanibel and Marco Island so we'd come for a visit most late summers. My love of the beach began there. I love all the shells from the big to the micro. Lol! As a teen my high school's band teacher won a jingle contest for Libby's canned foods and part of the prize was our marching band (my sister was in) got to march in the parade at Disney World. Dad made a vacation out of it of course. This is the jingle ( ruclips.net/video/_fivBoHfgEs/видео.html )
I always enjoy watching your video. I have learned so much on shells and critters and the different beaches there. Always something interesting to see like that manatee. Awesome! A good haul for the day. 🐚🌊
What a great trip! Love the turkey wings (one of my faves), the coral, orange scallop, urchin and that really dark kitten paw! I bet that manatee was thinking, hey what's that in the water... then later told his/her friends about getting super close to one of the critters from dry land.
It was such a fun day with such a great variety of treasures and that manatee!! I think next time I'll try my luck at keeping the camera on the entire time to see what else I can capture. The sting ray was huge!
I recently discovered you and have been watching, rather bingeing on your videos. I’ve learned so much from you. Also, your lovely videos are so therapeutic. Thank you.
If only I had the camera running when it was coming at me! Having that experience was amazing and at least I got to catch a little of that beauty as it swam by! ❤️
I enjoy your site so much. You have refreshed my memory of what I had learned about shell from my youth. You have inspired me to get my shells out in baskets and vases and bowls so I can see them and touch them when I want to. Thank you for your time and knowledge.
Just subscribed ! Love your channel....can't wait to visit Florida again and go shelling now that I have an idea of what to look for. Thanks and hello from Ontario, Canada
Loved that worm tunnel and the coral. So different than your usual finds. I would love to get my hands on the piles of shells and fill a large plastic Costco container (like Cheetos). I have been making my jewelry since I was 10 (58 years now) and I am having visions of all the different jewelry I could make. Like the ones you put back because half was gone or all the little ones with holes already. I enjoy your expeditions. I don’t know how you know all the names. Manatee was huge. 💚💚💚
I can imagine it would be frustrating to watch if I'm putting back your jewelry supplies, but I'm just not as crafty or creative as other people so I'm typically looking for shells to collect. Sometimes someone will put in a "Special order" and I'll hunt for a specific shell or materials. I'm very curious and like to learn the names of the shells and I've been practicing for almost 3 years now ☺️
Those turkey wings were fantastic. I know they are somewhat common but I still love them. I just got back from a week at Siesta Key and brought back a gallon zip-loc bag filled with minis and micro minis. I LOVED your manatee encounter!!!
I've heard Siesta Key isn't great for shells - good to know there are shells to be found! And if there is a bunch of a particular shell to be found - I'll go ahead and grab them. I never know the next time I'll see it. That manatee made my week! Thanks so much for watching!
I so loved your beach walk today. That manatee was awesome. Wish you could have interacted with it more. My trip to Cayo Costa was great because of all the manatees we swam with. A once in a lifetime experience. Hoping that everyone gets a chance to swim with these gentle Giants.
I would have burnt to a crisp to have had that experience. I'm so very excited that happened to you! I've seen the manatees "hanging" around the beach, but they were in deeper water. Maybe one day I'll get to hang out with them too!
Oh Kelly, what a FAB experience! I used to scuba dive, Southern California, and I once had the AWESOME experience of being surrounded by a huge pod of Dolphins which is highly unusual. But, I dream of Manatees!
Love your video...it is great to learn about all the different shells and beaches. Your positive attitude is the icing on this shell "cake"!!!!!!! THANK YOU! 😊 From an Indiana, landlocked fan!!!
Beautiful finds! It looks like a great beach. I love your videos. I look forward to it every Sunday! What is the little white shell next to the worm snail?
What a beautiful beach!! There were a lot of shells especially the Turkey Wings😂, the orange Scallp was gorgeous!! My favourite was the Manatee, beautiful!!
Shelling is my favorite thing to do when I get to the North Carolina coast. Watching your videos has inspired me to go through my stash of shells that I have accumulated through out the years.
A Marylander here who lived on the Chesapeake Bay for a few years. We tooth hunted near daily and I can assure you those were all sharks teeth! Great finds! Some quite old! Well done! 🦈🦷
I’m a new subscriber! I found you by accident! I live in south florida. Who knew what great things I could find on the Beach! Wow! Ive always collected shells here and there but never knew their names or significance! Thanks for the infoI will continue to follow😊
Welcome aboard new subscriber! There are SO many amazing treasures out there to hunt for. Granted, we don't get a lot of sea glass, but the sea life and shells are fantastic!
15 years ago my family and I went on one of those swim with the manatees in the wild trip when we went to Florida…it was amazing. They were very particular about adhering to the law about only 2 finger petting at the time, which I had absolutely no problem with, but one of those beautiful creatures was not. No matter how many times I tried to put space between us they just kept coming closer. The experience is right up there with swimming with the manta rays in Hawaii. Both were some of my favorite bucket list things I’ve done.
Both of those experiences sound amazing! I hope you were able to capture some photos. I got to snorkel with sea turtles in St. Thomas and that was pretty epic as well. There is something just a little more special when you get to interact with these animals "out in the wild." Thank you for sharing!
I enjoy so much your videos I wish they were longer. Every week I can't wait to watch the new one end enjoy the beach time plus I have learn a lot of the names of the shells I have collected thru the years on my trips to the beach. Keep up the good. work.
Love the manatee! Yes, those were shark teeth… some worn and the others broken. We live 8 minutes from Manasota beach but have yet to check out Stump Pass. Caspersen beach has teeth and shells!
We tried Caspersen and it was awesome! That grate thingy really helps. I haven't done it enough to really ID all the teeth so thank you for the additional help!
@@SWFBeachLife the rakes are nice and my husband uses it a lot. He will put scoops on the ocean sifter for me, but usually I’m walking looking for shells! 🤪
You have to remember that you can find so so so many different fossils in Florida, so those shiny black things you found that may not be shark teeth could very well be a fossil from something else. There are a few fossil hunters that I watch here on RUclips and hey all live in Florida. The things they find are remarkable!
Florida provides us all with so many treasures! I know some other shellers that have really gotten into the fossilized shells. You can find them in the parking lots they use the crushed shells to cover!
Hello sweet friend! Sorry I’m behind on watching your latest vids but we are just now getting Wi-Fi power and all that back after 4 days of dealing without all of that due to severe devastating floods here in my hollow and home town that happened July 28, 22 this past Thursday morning at 2am. But please keep us in your prayers and as always thank you for these vids because they help me keep my mind off of all that’s been going on. Sending love from eastern Kentucky 💕 I’ll be sharing a video over it all soon.
Every time I hear KY in the news I think of you and I am devastated to hear that flooding was in your home town. I will be keeping everyone in my thoughts and hope that recovering and help comes soon. Please stay safe mermaid! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have been startled by all sorts of creatures but when I see a big dark shape in the water I immediately think - MANATEE! I was happy I was able to get a little of my encounter on video. What a day I had - thanks so much for coming along with me!
I love your videos and I have to say I have learned a bit. When I was stationed on Guam I found a tiny yellow shell no bigger than a pea and it had a break in the ridge and that break was the shape of a heart. I had it for over 8 yrs and got it out to show some friends and one of them set a book on top of it and broke it. I cried after they all left. That was the only shell I was able to bring home with me.
Oh that broken shell would have broken my heart too. The only consolation I can offer is at least you have the memory of finding it. When you say you were stationed I assume you were in our military and if that is indeed the case - I thank you so much much for your service 🇺🇸 I wish I had a little yellow shell to send you to replace your broken one 💛
@@SWFBeachLife Oh thank you, Yes I was in the Navy back in 1980 and stationed on Guam. The only thing I regret is that I wanted to have the tiny shell put in resin so I could give it to my daughter back then, but I wasn't able to do that. So no I collect shells every time I get to the ocean.
Hi Sharmon, I've had no new surgery yet, but I've been referred to a specialist surgeon, so that's forward progress, I guess. I'm getting tired of waiting, so I thought I'd see what you are up to tonight. Before I start the video, I want to tell you about something even weirder than your finding a lot of Atlantic shells on a Gulf of Mexico beach. I watched you finding a piece of a Junonia and then saw a video of someone finding an entire one and I started thinking of the beautiful big shell I found at Ft. Myers Beach when I was a kid of only nine years old. I was walking way ahead of my parents. Back then it was easy to walk for hours on the beach all alone. It was safe, too! Someone told me at a nearby shell shop I begged to visit that my find was a Junonia and they offered me five dollars for it. I was shell crazy then, so I declined the offer. Years later, when I was a teen, I needed money for God knows what and decided that my shell collection was less important to me as it was before. I contacted a lady shell collector who had been asking to buy some shells from my extensive and varied collection (we had written back and forth for years about shells). I sent her a few photos of the shells I was interested in selling. I sent her one of the shell I thought was a Junonia, the prize of my collection, but kept one photo for my shelling journal. I realized, as I was looking at those videos last night, that a Junonia is NOT what I had found! That raised another question, though, "What's that shell?" So I quickly opened Google and then Wikipedia and compared the photo of the mystery shell to similar shells (long, heavy-bodied, quite pointed white shell with bright orange spots and an elongated opening) and I am now totally convinced that, fifty-four years ago, I found a large Bishop's Miter, about five inches long, on the sand at Ft. Myers Beach! Now, those shells ONLY occur in the Indio-Pacific region between the Indian Ocean and New Zealand, so that leaves me wondering one more thing. How in the world did a Bishop's Miter shell get to Ft. Myers Beach? Did someone place it there for someone else to find, but I found it first? There's no way that shell came around the tip of South America, up to the Caribbean and into the Gulf of Mexico or into the Gulf via the Panama Canal, yet there it was, lying on the sand, as if it was just waiting for me! It makes sense to me now why the collector who bought it from me was so excited! She got a really rare find of a shell, not to mention a large one, for only twenty dollars! Of course, twenty bucks was a lot of money fifty-four years ago! Makes me wish I'd never sold it, now. If I'd only had a shell book then, my husband said, I'd have known better than to sell it. I told him I couldn't afford a good shell book when I was nineteen years old. So he bought me a book last night on Amazon, the "Compendium of Seashells." It was selling, in new condition, for early a hundred and ten dollars, but I got it used for fifteen dollars! It's a big book and I can hardly wait until it comes, next week. Amazon has a lot of shell books in used condition, for much less than new. I plan on enlarging my already very large book collection. The internet is fine, but I love my books! I'd love to hear anybody's ideas on how that mystery shell may have made it from the Pacific to the beach at Ft. Myers. Anyway, back to the video... You are having a really great day, girl! The sea is happy to see you today! Darling, I'll take a manatee over a stingray any day of the week! Oh, yeah, those black things are shark's teeth! What a great day and a fun and exciting video! Thanks for taking me along with you! Much love from The Lost Mermaid! Becca
Hi, about tbe bishops miter, on the East coast we call them "wedding shells". I t used to be easy and inexpensive to buy a bag of Indo-Pacific shells. People use them as wedding decorations.
What a story! I was afraid you were going to say it was a banded cone. Those babies are so rare you can barely find any information about them. And I'm going to have to go with Janet Knight - it was probably left there from a beach themed party or celebration. I've found info-pacific shells too, but I quickly learned that not all shells you find on the beach are from SWFL. Crazy right?! And I have a few used shell books myself. They're so expensive, but boy are they fascinating! What a sweet husband to hook you up! I wish there was just one book that had every Florida shell in it, but alas, I have 3 different FL specific books and a few others that I like to look at and dream I'll get to go beachcoming in Fiji one day. Sending positive vibes to you mermaid! ❤️
@@SWFBeachLife That would explain it. Somebody's beach wedding favor got left behind! I'm glad that mystery is solved! It makes a pleasant memory, to be sure. Wish I still had the shell. It was gorgeous! Oddly, now I live near Knoxville, TN, home of the University of Tennessee Vols. Their team colors are bright orange and white. They'd go goofy over Bishop's Miter shells!
The manatee was so cool. How fun to see one up close. Love all the beautiful turkey wings you got. Thanks for a lovely day at the beach. ❤️
Thank you for coming along for shells, shark teeth and one giant gorgeous critter!
I have been learning so much from you, and just love your videos! 🥰. I’m going to be visiting Marco Island in the Spring, and can’t wait to go shelling there! 😁
Happy planning! Marco is gorgeous and the shells!!! 🌴🌊🐚
Absolutely love watching! We went Sannibel island this week. I actually had awesome day with additional visitor showed up.. manatee and dolphin stopped by at Light house beach. Was great day! ❤️😊
What an amazing experience to have! There is nothing like Florida!
Wow! What an awesome encounter. So glad you were able to catch a bit of it. I look forward to your videos every week. They are therapy for my overloaded brain. Thank you!!!

If I ever head your way I will look for you. No clue what you look like but we could run into each other. HAHA.
@@roxiegs348 You never know! I ran into 2 viewers today on the beach!

Thank you so much for choosing to come to the beach with me!
Love watching you... I look forward every Sunday evening to watch.
Love seeing the critters! Always something new to see and learn about! Thank you for the amazing trip!
Thank you so much for watching!
Love Sunday nights! Popcorn and a new beach video. Thank you so much for doing what you do! ❤️
Thank you so very much for watching! 🙏🏼
That was a fabulous beach trip! Definitely a great day for Turkey Wings and even Mossy Arcs, and congratulations on swimming with a Manatee! That was amazing.
That was the best part. Sometimes it's the memories and not the shells that make the day ☺️ But it's always better with shells!
This was an absolute pleasure today! Really enjoyed the manatee and the beauty of the shells! Thanks for taking me along!❤️
Thank you so much for coming to the beach with me!
Gobble, Gobble!! So many turkey wings that I thought it was Thanksgiving!! What a beautiful beach!
What a blessing to see a Manatee!! Awesome! Thank u for sharing the beautiful wildlife!! Amazing seashell haul! Love those Calico Scallops!! 👍👍👍🥰🥳
Thanks for watching!
I visited that beach many times earlier this year and had found your channel at that time. Hearing your pleasant voice makes it easier to identify my shells.
I'm glad I can help you figure out some of your shells!
Love you planning and taking those who watch your videos along with you.
You are so awesome to me ❤
Thank you for watching!
What an exciting day! Those manatees are so big! The shells were all great finds!!
Those manatees are very big! That encounter was the highlight of my day!
😊 Thanks ❤️
Seeing a manatee! What a fabulous experience! I'm happy for the wonderful times you have at the beach.
The turkey wings are pretty. It's a great teaching time when you compare them with the mossy arks.
That beach covered with prettily colored shells was delightful.
Thank you, Sharmon, for the great beach trip. Always looking forward to the next one, and the junonia!
I know there are not as many shells to be found this time of year, but I get so much more curious about all the other neat things out there so I really don't mind. I love the hunt and there always seems to be SOMETHING interesting to admire!
I really like the Giant Atlantic Cockles! Thank you for another relaxing day at the beach! ❤️🐚
I love the manatees! They are such gentle giants. So cool you got to see one that close! I want one of those grate things. I like sifting through the sand and finding tinies. The floating grates are perfect for that.
They really are a must have to find those shark teeth! I got lucky and managed to get a few but that grate makes them so much easier to find.
I sure do love going shelling with you the manatee experience had to be so exciting thank you look forward to next week
Love your videos and seeing what you find at the different beaches! Can't wait to get back to SWF! The manatee was amazing! ❤️
Thank you! I hope you have fun planning your trip back here to paradise! 🌴🌊🐚
Wow Turkey Wing heaven. How lovely to get up close to the Manatee. Thank you for sharing x
@@maggieslifeisawildride512 Its kind of familiar - I wonder if I ever saw that on TV when I was a kid! How fun is THAT?!
I always enjoy watching your video. I have learned so much on shells and critters and the different beaches there. Always something interesting to see like that manatee. Awesome! A good haul for the day. 🐚🌊
Love the beach trip! Fun seeing the manatee.
What a great trip! Love the turkey wings (one of my faves), the coral, orange scallop, urchin and that really dark kitten paw! I bet that manatee was thinking, hey what's that in the water... then later told his/her friends about getting super close to one of the critters from dry land.
That's so funny, Debbie!
It was such a fun day with such a great variety of treasures and that manatee!! I think next time I'll try my luck at keeping the camera on the entire time to see what else I can capture. The sting ray was huge!
Thanks!
A little something to help with shell findings.

You are so very welcome! Thanks so much for coming to the beach with me!

Thank you for watching!
when my wife and I go shell finding we love the Cat's paws
Another very nice trip to the beach. Thanks Sharmon
Thanks for coming along!
I'm very curious and like to learn the names of the shells and I've been practicing for almost 3 years now ☺️
Hello 👋, great video, love the shelves.
Seeing that Manatee got me excited
Me too! I was so happy to have been that close to one!
I bet that made shelling even better having a manatee encounter , water looked beautiful and your shell haul was worth the trip too
The manatee was the highlight of my trip!

Amazing haul !
Keep up the good. work.
I truly love what I'm doing and I thank you for choosing to spend some time with me every Sunday at the beach! 🙏🏼
I have been startled by all sorts of creatures but when I see a big dark shape in the water I immediately think - MANATEE! I was happy I was able to get a little of my encounter on video. What a day I had - thanks so much for coming along with me!
Love the manatee encounter , made me jealous. Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you so much for watching!
@@monicalong8168 I hope you end up finding a little something just as special! 🐚

That raised another question, though, "What's that shell?"
So I quickly opened Google and then Wikipedia and compared the photo of the mystery shell to similar shells (long, heavy-bodied, quite pointed white shell with bright orange spots and an elongated opening) and I am now totally convinced that, fifty-four years ago, I found a large Bishop's Miter, about five inches long, on the sand at Ft.
Love from The Lost Mermaid (who lost her shells, too!)
@@janetknight9978 Thanks so much for that info! Though the shell is long gone from my possession, I've never forgotten how beautiful it was. I never knew that people would leave such amazing shells on the beach! I always thought the purpose of shelling was to take them home!😊
@@ittybittykittymama7582 Many people just see the shells as wedding decorations. They have no idea how fascinating they are. People who don't collect things seldom get it - how wonderful to have a collection. I am so fortunate that my husband gets it, but no one else in my family. We are so fortunate to have Facebook and uTube to share our passions.
Loved seeing the manatee in your video. I agree that all of your black finds are shark teeth. My favorite place to find them is Casperson Beach in Venice. I just use a colander from the Dollar Store.
That's where we went when we had the grate in the water (I showed a quick shot in this video) and it was SO much easier hunting that way. At least I had my scoop and managed to find a few. It was such a fun day.

@@SWFBeachLife oh yes I saw that one he found hundreds I love flats it was so exciting, don't say anything but I prefer you and your way to film etc 😍
@@geraldineficarelli8626 It can be our little secret ❤
Yes, pretty sure those are sea robins. We saw one not long ago up at Pass-a-grill. Love their round fins. Super cool that you saw a manatee so close.
I just wish I had had my camera running when the manatee swam by. At least I got to catch a little bit of that big gorgeous creature!
