How To Change A Hot Tub Temperature Sensor (Jacuzzi / Sundance)

  • If your Jacuzzi, Sundance, or Sweetwater hot tub is displaying "-----" "OH" or (in my case) unusually high water temperature that differs from the reading on your panel, odds are you have a defective temperature sensor. I'll show you step by step how to relace the sensor and get back to enjoying your spa in no time! This is a very straightforward fix that provided you know the make, model and year of your tub ( to order the correct sensor) can be performed by anyone and help to save you some serious money!

    You will also need a 1 inch socket to remove the old sensor, and the appropriate screwdrivers to access your hot tubs equipment bay and panel. Remember, always disconnect the power from the panel before performing any maintenance to your tub.

      Thanks for the kind words! It's a very easy process, and saves a ton of money over having to pay a service tech to replace the part, plus the inevitable dealer markup on the sensor itself!
