      Alright, got a customer with a 2020 J-385. Tub hasn’t been turned on in months. Just filled up and now it’s giving me a “cool overheat gfci trip” upon startup and then kills the power and gfi trips within 3 minutes. I bought the bumpers that you linked.
      Just double checking I’ll be doing this correct.
      1) Turn off breaker power
      2) put a jumper on J68
      3) turn breaker back on for 15 seconds, then turn off.
      4) remove jumper and it should have reset that message right?

  • @gabrielmurillo5073
    @gabrielmurillo5073 Год назад +1

    That's the easy way ! Do it without draining the spa. Just kidding. Great Video. Btw, you can make a "Temp Sensor key" with a PVC T or PVC elbow so you dont have to use pliers. All you need is heat up the PVC and put an old sensor there until the PVC takes the form of the sensor and thats your key. Works every time. Also, after replacing the temp sensor you are suppose to reset the dipswitch #10 or the message can come back. I think its easier than jumping the board.

    I have a 2014 lightly used Jacuzzi 335 Clear Ray hot tub. It has worked flawlessly until late fall when it would not up to temperature. I winterized the tub and in starting up this year I have the same issue. There are no error codes. Water going into the tub was around 45 degrees. After a day it was up to 65 but that's where it stopped. I replaced the temperature sensor but that didn't solve the issue. I assume I have a heater issue but thought I'd check in here first. Any other checks before I call for heater replacement? Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have. Thanks for your video work....first class!
