Hi, I have a jacuzzi j235 2012 and I have the OH code . Jacuzzi is overheating and water is really hot . Could this be the temp sensor or high limit sensor . If it’s the temp sensor is it the same way to replace it like in your video? Thank you !
It used to run , now I had repaired the card , GFI and I need to replace the SC-30 fuse on it . And let say I set the temp at 100 , it goes all the way to i dont know 108 , and after that the code OH appear .
Hello great video well explained, my sundance optima is not starting up, the lights work the stereo works but nothing else, I hear a click when I power it up and nothing, check the board and looks clean with no bulging capacitor or burn marks, the screen shows a code, 11A. Think this would help
it might be just twisting the pipe/fitting. Normally it's foamed in pretty good so it doesn't twist. Might have to try and get behind it and hold that pipe to unscrew the temp sensor.
Excellent video. Replacing mine on 4 year old j400 series, and I assume this will not be last time. I wonder if silicone is necessary seeing that on next replacement I’d have to clean it off jacuzzi opening.
great video!! However, I can't find anywhere what the correct part # is that I need to replace a Jacuzzi brand 2020 J315 temperature sensor. Can you please help?
Perfect!! thank you for the prompt reply! I'll check in a couple days when I'm back. Once I find out the exact part #, do you recommend a certain website to order from? I tried Amazon but they only listed parts for older models.
I changed out the temp sensor based on your video and it seems to be reading the correct temperature. Thank You! However, I now have a "OVERHEAT GFCI TRIP CALL FOR SERVICE" message even though the pumps/jets and heater work fine, and the CLEAR RAY system works and the breaker isn't tripped. Thoughts? Is there a way to clear this message since everything appears to be working fine?
My J300 has the "watchdog error" of 3 dashes, however, it's definitely not hot. Does that indicate a heat sensor malfunction? If yes, do I follow the steps of this video? (great video, btw!)
The 3 dashes means that there's no flow. COuld be the filters, the pump or a sensor. Turn off the power for 15 mins, turn back on. Does the pump that pushes the water thru the heater tube even on?

@@carllacroix590 Thats a new one. Is the hot tub still running and all the pumps work. And. What is the temp?

@@carllacroix590 change the temp sensor. If the OH comes on and shuts the tub off where you can't even turn the pumps on, it's the high limit working.
Thank-you for this post. I will order a replacement sensor now.
Thank u so much for the video- I managed to change it on my own and now it’s working again 👍👍
Glad it worked out for you.

Our temperature sensor is not unscrewing as easily as it does in your video. Any ideas as to why it won’t unscrew?

Thanks for the video. My J-375 says it's heating, but temperature is not moving. Is this a potential fix?
Yes.
Hi , great video.. I have a Jacuzzi 2020 j335 my screen is reading temp of 104, but temp actually only 98 . Is that the temp sensor ? Thanks
Sounds like it's a temp sensor
@@VIPPoolsandSpas Thank you very much for your quick response. Very helpful

It's no big deal removing silicone

The part # will have a sticker on the wire itself.

@@VIPPoolsandSpas nothing runs. pushing the buttons does nothing. I've tried turning the power off several times (for 15 minutes).
@@VIPPoolsandSpas It was the heat sensor! I replaced it yesterday and it's currently heating back up!
