Thank you, Annette, for always thinking about a pool, now get Federico in line to find us one, with views.. please, and thank you! But seriously, thank you both for all you do!!
Hi Annette, I love your videos! I have a question for you. In Italy, even minor changes to the original plans of houses require permission. I was wondering if you encountered any issues related to building regulations when buying these houses or during renovations-especially when making changes (like replacing windows) that deviate from the original plans?
That is a great question. Unless you buy a listed historical home you don't have to adhere to rigorous regulations. However, you must have a Geometra overseeing the renovation. He/She knows all the rules that apply to your community. Read my book. Italy is My Boyfriend for more specifics. Thanks for wathcing.
Annette have you been to Puglia in southern Italy by cc the coast. Everything there is cheaper and nicer than these houses you show. Sorry I would never live in those places. Go down there and see for your self. Norton Tanzanello has a great you Tube video on those be as dutiful homes
Oh, Northern Tuscany is a very different place. It is green, with mountains with loads of water, and a beautiful location with the seaside only 30 minutes away. It is gorgeous. Puglia is flat and arid. It is not my jam. I have been, and sorry to say it's not for me. Thanks for watching.
This one is a mixed bag. It felt so good at the big wooden gate off the street, heading into the beautiful stone courtyard that only needed some weeding, and finally the living room area with fireplace that feels cozy and interesting. Beyond the living room it was much less interesting. The borgo is a big thumb up! The home is in need of some spiffing and characterful renovation (yes probably rip out some of the new things they have done recently) but considering it could be viewed as move-in ready, the value is decent. Cheers
Bigger windows would be a plus but imagine couldn't be done due to width of walls or too expensive. I live the close to house outside space but not the pool area space. Too much upkeep for an older female. But yeah, also the steps involved. Otherwise for less money, it would be pretty nice. The village, hiking/waters, plus peace and quiet is perfect.
Hi Annette my husband and I watch your beautiful videos all the time❤your are just fantastic…how do we get in touch with you regarding a home purchase in Italy? Best regards Sonja
What I would do: Pony walls..nope gone. Expand the downstairs bathroom into the storage/pantry area. Any counter (bath, kitchen or outside) that has wall tile is gone! I hate cleaning the grooves between the tiles...nope gone. Someone else's furniture gone....feng shui says if they were sick or unhappy the energy may still be there... nope gone. Close in vase niches that are spider habitats. Some windows would become doors, some just larger, little ones would disappear.
My camper i gave also the text la dolce vita, it's on the back 😅. The price does that inclusive all the costs . Ore not ? Top off budget for me ...ore , that is what i want 2 invest ..that is in this region more expensive than the Abruzzo amazing region .... but it is also beautyful. But the mill .. ....❤ winner
I love the courtyard and the garden. Not loving the layout. I would rather have a two bedroom two bath on the top floor than three bedrooms with only one bathroom. No one wants to go downstairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I think it's a good price for a home that doesn't need a new roof, plumbing, etc. I would have to redo the kitchen and bathrooms. The pony wall is interesting because I like to have a foyer or something before walking into a living room. I don't like walking right into a living room from the entrance but that wall might cut up the space too much.
OMG, Annette you are hilarious!! Love the a$§ montage. 🫏😂 Frederico, you roll with the punches so well!🏅 My hubby and I are counting the days until we will be in Italy; looking for our new home to retire in. --- * Honestly, it took time getting used to your channel. I would suggest anyone watching and thinking what the he%£ ?😳 Stick with it, roll with the punches, and the channel will grow on you. 😂🤣
Excellent value - just move in 👏👏❤️.
Courtyard privacy is definitely best feature for me, too dark like you said but agreed about the Borgo, super cute.
Agreed, but I am Running away from those inclined stairs in NC. a full second bathroom is a must as well. Charming but not for me.
We were in that borgo before! I remember the community area!
Thanks for the revisit.
This is a new location for me. It's a really cute village.
@@AnnetteJosephstyle Well, I might be mistaken; I know I saw that little square somewhere! With that sign! Joy fest....Grazie always!

Is Mozzano the same as Borgo a Mazzano between Lucca and Bagni di Lucca?
No it is above Equi Termi near Fivizzano

Is this still for sale?
You will need to contact Federico; he can help you. Thanks for watching. info@immobiliarecardellini.it
How much Land contains the surrounding?
I would say it's about an acre, guessing. I would ask Federico, his email is below the video.
Did the 2 zany Brits do the ars shots?
Every room, dreary, hideous tile. If this was a full reno, that's where they blew it.
Lady gaga!
