He continues anyway, and tries to play it off like he's trying to get YOU to plug the channel that your viewer would already be on. He's a dick.

I see it as a bit of harmless fun, why the need to be so serious :))

That's an excellent summary. I also think that his sense of humor would be more sarcastic and intellectual, and not "I LOVE GUNS AND MURDER HAHAHA" like in many adaptations of the character. After all, the joker is a clown (somebody is weird and awkward, but we put our trust in him anyways). A charismatic, intelligent Joker with a lot of chutzpah is something sorely missing in the adaptations xD

Nah, if you watch the Batman Chronicles here on RUclips, you'll find that his Joker is more subtle and this actually makes his performance more powerful. I like Hamil's Joker, but his voice would be too over the top for the way Misiano portrays him.

ryann45 Speachless. Ive honestly thought this a lot recently, teetering between theatre and traditional and digital art. Plays, comics, paintings, etc. I've personally just always thought I was missing something, like I could add more, or my mediums were a bit limited to what I could do. On stage, you can't catch every small movement, change in the face, eye, brow or voice. It's these little details that a camera is best at picking up. -And along with music, cinematics, costume design, lighting, every other corner of the artistic realm, they can be carved, brought together and polished to create a finished masterpiece.
I agree that film is the most accurate field that displays the most forms of art, but you have to understand that all of the aspects of art expressed in film are just the tips of icebergs. I studied graphic design and I’m currently an architect in practice, and trust me when I say drawing, costume design, photography, etc, go wayyy further in their respective worlds.
I don’t understand why they don’t just cast people like this dude in movie. They always make our most beloved character so different when it comes to looks.

ryann45 Speachless. Ive honestly thought this a lot recently, teetering between theatre and traditional and digital art. Plays, comics, paintings, etc. I've personally just always thought I was missing something, like I could add more, or my mediums were a bit limited to what I could do. On stage, you can't catch every small movement, change in the face, eye, brow or voice. It's these little details that a camera is best at picking up. -And along with music, cinematics, costume design, lighting, every other corner of the artistic realm, they can be carved, brought together and polished to create a finished masterpiece.

I agree that film is the most accurate field that displays the most forms of art, but you have to understand that all of the aspects of art expressed in film are just the tips of icebergs. I studied graphic design and I’m currently an architect in practice, and trust me when I say drawing, costume design, photography, etc, go wayyy further in their respective worlds.
