In this video, Patrick Lyons, RUclips fitness personality, prankster, and bodybuilder, runs into classrooms on Halloween dressed as Batman. Batman's greatest enemy, none other than the Joker, is sabotaging classrooms at the University of Texas, and Batman is there to save the day. This is of course all ensuing while class is still going on, leading to priceless reactions from both professors and students. You've gotta check this one out to see for yourself. Amazing how respectful everyone is. The prank is really harmless, the professor lets it roll, theprank is very short. The class continues with a humorous remark about what just happened. Just gorgeous.

Highschool has a totally different vibe then College/Uni. Highschool teachers need to be firm and limit this kind of freedom in class since it can easily get out of hand and students can cause chaos and walk all over the teacher.

Actually, you would in my history classes at the Richland Campus of Dallas College. But perhaps that’s because Dr. Brands was one of my professors when I was a graduate student at Texas A&M (1995-1997). 😃

I don’t like how you said it. Some of my best times were at the small local community college. I loved my physics prof, history prof, and also government prof. All brilliant and entertaining lecturers who knew how to tell a story. I have now graduated with a MS in Physics from the best private university in the state (probably top 3 program in the country), and I STILL miss the times at community college; a tiny campus that no one knows or gives a shit about. It’s really all about professors and almost nothing about the university name. That’s just how I’ve felt and observed over my 3 colleges.

I always appreciate teachers like this. If someone pulls a fun thing like this, they take it lightly, enjoy the fun, and get back into the lecture afterward. It's always nice to see teachers who like to enjoy a little fun. Makes it more fun just to be in class when you have a teacher who might even pull a fun joke of their own. That's why I loved how our entire science wing in high school was all the typical old science nut who likes to set stuff on fire

The professor giving the lecture is HW Brands! One of the best American historians there is. I'd highly recommend reading his books if this lecture interests you. And the way he handled all this made me respect him even more💪👌

For those wondering the professor is 'H.W. Brands' and this class appears to be one of his undergrad classes that he teaches each semester for freshmen. He is also an author of relative great acclaim for his biographies. He originally wanted to write a history of the US but found that publishers really do not want to publish such books. Instead he wrote a series of biographies that span the 18th century to the present day. The books in order are 'The First American: The Life and Times of Benjamin Franklin', 'Andrew Jackson: His Life and Times', 'The Man Who Saved the Union: Ulysses Grant in War and Peace ', 'TR: The Last Romantic', 'Traitor to his Class: The Privileged Life and Radical Presidency of FDR', 'The Wages of Globalism: Lyndon Johnson and the Limits of American Power' and finally 'Reagan: The Life'. There is other books that he has written that help flesh out each era. In the end, he has written his history of the US but by biography. If you are interested in a bit more interesting method of history he did a long running set of tweets in haiku form that he turned into a book called, Haiku History: The American Saga Three Lines at a Time
If you want to listen to his lectures on his books, he gives a lecture to the Grand Valley State University up in Grand Rapids, Michigan about once a year on a book. The lectures are on the YT channel 'Hauenstein Center'. It is where I got the information in the above comment. He does a great job in his presentations. If I went to one these lectures I would have to ask him about the prank as I think he would remember that vividly.
