- Today, I am participating in the Blue Challenge hosted by Andy from Flip Pop. The only requirement is that you use blue in your furniture flip.
I'm going to transform two used school desks into a pair of blue nightstand (or end tables) on a budget!

Also, I do have a stain on my shirt. It was from an idea my daughter had involving me drinking a blue drink, which I managed to spill and didn't realize how big of a mess I'd made. Honestly, a blooper reel would mostly show me making a mess. Does anyone else have that same problem?

Heather you are so funny!!! Your Intro was the best!!! Im so glad that you showed that you are able to blend with acrylic paints.. alot of people think you can only blend with chalk paints. Wow, those turned out really cool. Baskets or drawers, they both look good so i guess it would depend on the use. Turned them into some nice side tables. Your daughter is so cute! She is getting the flip bug early!

Good job. I think you should've left the silver legs bare, because they will scrape as you adjust the height. But, they look nice.

I thought about it, but they were pretty damaged. One even had a chunk of the silver missing (I guess it's a coating?) so I felt like it needed an update. The self-etching primer really does make a big difference in the paint adhesion.
I like the color on top but not the color on the drawers.
