From School Desks to Patio Tables // Patio Furniture Challenge
Today, I am participating in the #PatioFurnitureChallenge hosted by Margie at the Asking Spot! I am taking another pair of school desks and making them over into patio tables for me. This project was meant to be bright and fun and I think I achieved that look. I cannot tell you how excited I am to get these out on my patio just to brighten things up!

Arrg I have had that spray paint crinkle before and morning dew/humidity will cause it too I think. This is so beautiful and I’ve got to try stenciling with spray paint, wow!
@@AskingSpot it is so annoying! And I have to spray in the morning because by noon it is too hot! Thank you, this was so fun!

No disrespect, but your eyes are a shade of yellow. It's commonly caused by the liver not fully doing its job. It's usually caused by smoking or regular drinking. If you usually don't do either of those things you should get a blood test.
I appreciate your concern, but I do not smoke at all or drink regularly. And my liver is actually fine.

I like the color on top but not the color on the drawers.
Heather, these are beautiful! I love the blues and these mixes remind me of a holograph-type of mix. I was so happy when you blended the colors on the stencils 🥰. I knew that was going to look awesome. My favorite part is your family involvement - so precious. And you know when a son starts dumpster picking for his mom - that is true love! 🤣

Wow, those turned out really cool. Baskets or drawers, they both look good so i guess it would depend on the use. Turned them into some nice side tables. Your daughter is so cute! She is getting the flip bug early!

Good job. I think you should've left the silver legs bare, because they will scrape as you adjust the height. But, they look nice.
Thank you! I thought about it, but they were pretty damaged. One even had a chunk of the silver missing (I guess it's a coating?) so I felt like it needed an update. The self-etching primer really does make a big difference in the paint adhesion.
Great job! Those are some crisp lines! I personally like the wooden drawer better, it flows better with the desk. The colors make it pop! 😊

Heather you are so funny!!! Your Intro was the best!!! Im so glad that you showed that you are able to blend with acrylic paints.. alot of people think you can only blend with chalk paints. Your little helper is the cutest!!! Awesome making your own drawer too.. I reallllllyyyyy love how these desks turned out!!!! So cute!!!
