Thanks again for the upload CosmicPumpkin! This was the most curious match result I've seen so far. I make a habit of paying attention to the field of study of each contestant, and the losing team seemed to be far more well-rounded than the winners. And the losing team did indeed look better in the early stages. Then they just seemed to run out of steam. I'd need to rewatch and pay closer attention to be sure, but it seemed the winning team, particularly the captain, just started taking charge of the buzzer. I'm not sure how often the losing team actually tried to buzz and were beaten to the punch, but it seemed from here that too often there wasn't really any attempt from the losing team to answer. That said, a good effort by both teams. And my best to each contestant.

But guessing can't hurt, right? At least in the bonus round... Might as well throw a shot in a gray area. I've seen it work once in the episode before this.
EDIT: I got to the Japanese Cinema questions. Yeah, I'd have guessed Godzilla because it's a 1950s Japanese Kaiju movie. That's all I know about it, but it's better than what they did. Trivia Questions like this are designed to be difficult such that a wild guess in the dark doesn't work; but they're not design to prevent wild guesses. Thus, always take them - they cannot hurt.

I know it's too late for this season, but for the next one I sure hope they get rid of that (rather unattractive) computer screen the host is using to read the questions. Besides its rather archaic, obtrusive appearance, every time the camera shoots to Mr. Rajan, he seems to only be staring at that screen and never looking at the students. I'm sure that's not the case, but it's how it looks. It is a really strange set up. Attention UC producers--please bring back the question cards and get rid of that stupid grey-covered box!
