well, I still run matches on daily basis so I am looking for a mod to actully make a difference to the game, been playing rise off the lich king for a while now, but.... the main issue I have is that me and my brother is so used to playing network as well against each other, so we get nowhere, because we simpy know each others strategy to well :I
I remember playing this mission as Mordor. I had the idea to spawn the Balrog when Theoden cinematic ended. Theoden, Eowyn, Eomer were sent flying accross the map on the second floor of minas tirith. Try it. Anyone who reads that.
I remember this being very impressive in vanilla bfm.e i hate that i lost my copy of both games including rotwk. any tips where i could get a key without paying 250 bucks?
i was playing a custom map ealier with unlimited resources and troop space and spammed trebucheys and their only bane was if he sent troops walking past them through the pack, i couldn't help but watch it infold, usually lost about 15 of them from friendly each time lol.
you should have used your cavaliry with a secret passage in western part then attack and destroy trebuches and siege tower (half of them would be enough) then retreat, and summon the rohirrim north and destroy the trebushes there before they could make any significant damage..
A litle advice my friend: when grond is at the gate open the gate, kill it then close th gate :P And never forget to upgrade every archer to fire arrows inclduing rangers. When rohan arrives, make sure they have at least one pessant group and a postern gate on the end of the wall so they can get in and repair the dor. ;)
exactly, BFME 1 is great, but the sequel is better, however that does not make BFME redundant, it's still great to play the best battles in the LOTR Trilogy.
Great fight, well done! But something is wrong with that mod, towards the end you should have had all your heroes at level ten with all the kills they had and you should have had all your power ups available. Very odd how very very slow you attained experience.
are u kiddin me with that graphic contrast . but the shit was so nice . idk I never liked 2 that much as 1 . I was probably lazy and young used to 1 :D
How the fuck do you get this piece of crap working? I installed it but it froze several times then it just shows a Windows Cannot open .ros file. Never mind. I just uninstalled it. What a waste of time. :( My version of BFME does not like mods. None have ever worked. Did I mention that in the directory ALL I GET IS TWO WEIRD FOLDERS?
I did. It just lead to a game cannot understand .ros file. I got rid of this mod and put in 2.00 patch just now and it worksfine giving a lot more options in the factions. You won't believe how good it is. The ROS mod has never worked but if you have any ideas I might give it try it again. At least the ROS mod installed all the way. Thanks for helping though. :) Glad to know there are people that can speak English about this mod. :)
The launcher should rename the .ros files to .big files, then the game will begin to understand them. The original installer with ModDB has several bugs, including hang-up, so I do not exclude that the mod could not fully installed for you
MOD INSTALL ZOOMS TO 90 AND GETS STUCK. FAIL!!!!!! I THINK PEOPLE WHO PLAY THIS MOD DO IT ON EUROPEAN PC'S THEY ARE OLD ONES 32 BIT. America has 64 BIT PC's THAT USES PCIE (EXPRESS) BOARDS THAT HAVE DIFFERENT WIRING.ETC YOUR MOD IS LIKELY LOOKING FOR AN XP FILE which 7 DOESN'T HAVE.
I think they improved the smithy.

It worked on my laptop and i have a 64 bit
IT JUST GOES TO A WINDOWS CANNOT RECOGNIZE THIS FILE FORMAT WHICH ENDS IN A .ROS FILE. I have both parts.
Kyle Hill did the same for me, launch it from the base game launcher
