The map itself may make it seem as though it wouldn't be very hard or time consuming to travel out there, but in-game it's supposed to be a HUGE area of land, stretching from New Mexico and Colorado to Louisiana and Arkansas. And in 1907 that would be a very LONG journey. Not worth it just to pop by for a dinner unless you're passing through the area on your way out west to find a new home.

As long as they punch you first you won't get in trouble and even if you do you can just defuse the situation to the cops and they'll give you a short time to get out of the area and you wont be wanted so that's never happened to me after I learned how the game works. Also cops will shoot NPCs all the time for me in Valentine. I like to go cause trouble in town then if they start shooting at me I just run towards the sheriffs office (without shooting back) and the law will usually engage in a gun fight with them
If only I had known this before I did this mission... I would have definitely spared Mr Foreman's life to bring him to sweet justice for that $85 dollars.
I mean, once you get those 21,000 dollars as John, most of the bounty hunting is just for the fun of it. I still think it’s well worth it to let him live.
I went to the Valentine sheriffs office in the epilogue and the first two bounties you bring in from their we’re sitting in the cell 8 years after Arthur brought them in. Needless to say I shot them both. Then two days later they respawned
LOOL I had lawmen shooting at me and chasing me when I ran into Tilly, so in the middle of the cut scene one of them shot my hat off and they all grouped so when John turns around after Tilly leaves, all I saw was like 20 lawmen and so I went into deadeye and shot like 6 of them but I ended up dying exactly the same way as John does in RDR XD
Anthony foreman wasn't as bad a guy as the usual bounties, in the end I actually felt some sympathy for him if he really wanted to get back at tilly he would have done it years ago. If you read the newspaper entries about the foreman boys most people especially the minorities in Lemoyne don't have a problem with their robberies. Seeing as they usually target people that the poor and disadvantaged want targeted. Unlike Dutch's gang it seems like they actually managed to live up to their code and standards for their entire run, so much so Anthony was still being aided by the poor years later. How many professional criminals can say they lived by what they preached all of the time.
I mean I could write about how I've felt sympathy for some real ones or would that be too smart a conversation. Maybe if you want people to take your attempts at speaking seriously, you should try and get your name checked if it's not your head. What was your point with this comment anyway other than trying half heartedly to be a troll.

There's some more dialogue you can find about Foreman as well. Tilly talks about it at camp and when you go on a side mission with her and Bill, Bill talks about how he will never trust her because of how she betrayed that gang. Love the world building in this game.
Ms Grimshaw is one of my favorite characters. She was so god damned bad ass. The fact that at a moments notice she was perfectly willing to pick up a revolver, or a shotgun and defend her family without even a hesitation. Even though she never really got along with the other women, especially Tilly, as soon as Tilly was in danger, she went full on momma bear and raged out straight up executing someone. I wish she would have made it to the epilogue.

I like how when Anthony says “she’ll screw you over like she did me!” Was an absolutely incorrect statement as Tilly was one of the most loyal gang members up until the last story mission before the epilogue.
Am I the only one that thinks Mary Beth was a wasted character, the only one in the entire gang who is literally pointless in the gang, Tilly has the foreman stuff, Karen has the drink, molly is used as dutch’s love interest, Mary Beth has nothing, no character development, no distinguishing past or trait that makes her unique.
She actually has so development if you do a few of the missions like the stage coach with Sean and get her the pen she wanted and some camp conversations she’s a pretty nice character actually

Man for someone as myself playing for Anthony Foreman in online as a player who had never played story mode he’s such a badass for the choice of him to be spared or killed is placed on the screen like that in story
He'd been hanging out in Saint Deni though. I mean, they made sure he was the guy you can go to in Online for that same area. Like the cop said, he's a hero to the misguided fools there. That sorta implies he's been there awhile and it makes sense considering Radleys house was so close to Rhodes and Saint Deni. The Foremans likely ran in that area mostly and he just so happened to be at the right place right time to find Tilly in Valentine. Which again makes sense due to him being alone and with no other members/family. I guess i just never saw Anthony as THAT bad of a guy. Look at his wanted poster as an example. No murders mentioned mostly just standard conman stuff. Likely comparable to a poster you would see for a character like Hosea. Both im sure have killed but their main, known crimes are far more petty than most bounties you come across. So i just never viewed the Foremans in the way i viewed the Bell boys, Murphreys, Skinners, O'Driscals, etc.
You made the encounter with Tilly's "stalker" I guess; I haven't played the game all that much if any, but I would have gone with the Intervene dialog tree because you can hear Arthur be aggressive with the dude, even when he nearly pulls his pistol out until he sees that you already have yours drawn.
I do feel conflicted about this one (as I admittedly do about any of the bounties on minorities, simply knowing they wouldn't get a fair shake even if they weren't committing crimes and were punished much more harshly), as technically he did keep his word to not come after Tilly and the crimes he has a bounty for are all minor, and committed against rich folks who could certainly handle losing a little money. However, it does make me a bit nervous to know he's in St. Denis, where Tilly is, and that he attributes the downfall of his gang to her. And at the end of the day, protecting Tilly is my priority, so... goodbye, Anthony Foreman.

Based on the interactions with him in the online segment of Red Dead Redemption 2, he frequents Saint Denis for the saloons and other reasons, not hunting down Tilly again. Hell, he frequents there before the epilogue.
I deadeyed his horse in the leg twice. It slowed it down so i could catch up on foot without him getting off the horse then lassoo into the dirt, then used his horse to bring in the bounty

I was replaying rdr2, and when i agreed to go on the fishing trip with hosea and dutch in rhodes I saw Anthony riding with his gang on the way there.

I do feel conflicted about this one (as I admittedly do about any of the bounties on minorities, simply knowing they wouldn't get a fair shake even if they weren't committing crimes and were punished much more harshly), as technically he did keep his word to not come after Tilly and the crimes he has a bounty for are all minor, and committed against rich folks who could certainly handle losing a little money. However, it does make me a bit nervous to know he's in St. Denis, where Tilly is, and that he attributes the downfall of his gang to her. And at the end of the day, protecting Tilly is my priority, so... goodbye, Anthony Foreman.

@@tigerburn81 Yes, I did? Of course it's just a video game! But I still try to react to things the way I would in real life. I find it's more fun to see the situations that way, doesn't mean I'm not aware it's fictional. If you're above that, cool? But this is how I play games.

I deadeyed his horse in the leg twice. It slowed it down so i could catch up on foot without him getting off the horse then lassoo into the dirt, then used his horse to bring in the bounty

My little brother won't stop watching the same show on tv... I cannot get him off of the television, my parents watch tv in their bedrooms now. I have beat the game but i still want to do things like this but nobody can get him off of the tv.I sadly made the mistake of not getting rdr2 on pc, and now i cannot play rdr2 or rdr (also the show he is watching at this very moment is called Gravity Falls i know it's a good show but after the millionth episode it is very annoying)
If you do the rat infestation side quest at the bar before the bounty you will get a different interaction with the bar owner when doing the bounty.
