Man there shouldn't be any ads especially on Pro version of the OS.

@dreaper5813 Linux is more pro. It isn't the answer for everything though. I still like windows.

@dreaper5813 It is useful. Linux isn't the only viable OS. You are fanboying Linux too much. I have used all 3 OSes. I currently only use macOS. I have used linux only for years too and dual booted it along with Windows.

advice: stop fighting your operating system, install an OS that doesn't fight you. My recommendation is simple: linux.

You don't have to use registry to disable Home. Just use the local device policy.

Everyone saying install Linux…I’d love to however I just built a pc for games and there’s a lot of games that don’t run under Linux or need to do some kind of work around. I’d also love to switch to Linux if they had an easy way to install programs…I thought it was a joke about how you install things but the second someone says okay open up a shell and type: I tune out because it’s not 1982 anymore and we have had GUI’s for a few years now soo why are we installing things like we’re still powering our pc with steam engines

@@Real-fo7pi I’ve been investigating Linux on & off for the past 25 years, and @obvinpro is right… it’s pretty ‘wack’, for the personal desktop user anyway.
Saying ‘skill issue’ is elitist nonsense, and the kind of thing that puts ‘normies’ off using Linux.
There are some great distros (I’m currently dual-booting Linux Mint) but it’s all so fragmented and there’s a substantial lack of consistency, agreed standards, and quality professional software for creative workflows…
They haven’t even fully sorted out basics like display systems and window managers - X11 is creaking like an arthritic grandfather, and Wayland is still a way away from being solid and reliable in all cases, even after over 15 years of development.
Theres been some great strides sorting out gaming in Linux in recent years thanks to Valve, but it’s still such a hot mess and needs a lot of work - not least of all making a solid stable base to encourage devs to make proper Linux native ports of games, without having to worry about the inevitable shitshow of technical support.

yeah i don't get this on my windows 11 pro maybe because i right out the gate just disable nearly everything privacy related or maybe its because I'm in the eu
my backup is a flash drive with windows 11 setup on it XD i don't see a point in backing up files as the c drive will never contain anything important besides save games still recommend people to only use the c drive to install software and nothing more then that every file you create or download goes on a separate hard drive
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
the thing is if you have more drives then backups don't mather much if windows shits itself because if you keep c clean that c is the only thing that will need to be formatted the other drives are safe unless you are a madman and just delete every partition you see in the partition table in the windows setup but if your not you can usually just find it between the list it shouldn't be hard as the drive for example 0 or 1 has multiple partitions assigned to them
note that while msr reserved could be a normal partition on most drives it is abnormal if a system or a boot partition is on multiple drives at the same time delete those partitions and just expand them later back into their rightful drive windows can end up being braindead and using a old boot partition then when you remove them later in disk management and think ow its fine the drive windows is installed on has its boot partition then you turn off your pc then the next day boot it and you cant get in because it cant find boot.mgr as you can guess it happened to me before f u windows
in disk management you should always see the drive with windows on it having 2 partitions (3 in setup) while the others have no extra partitions unless made by yourself
another thing is that windows setups these days don't take like 2 hours to complete its more like 1 minute and 30 seconds for just the setup minus adjusting setup settings hench why i don't see the point anymore with backups they don't save time heck they might even take more time even if you use shadow copies that said sure if you have a old pc without a ssd it might still be faster

but the best tip is to during the setup of windows 11 when you have to login to just press shift+10 and type oobe\bypassnro without a space this will cause your system to restart back into the setup were it left and once you get to the login section you get a option of "i don't have internet" which then allows you to make a local account which saves a lot of headaches with windows
note if however it did not show up then type oobe\bypassnro again and when on the first page after restart do shift+10 again and type ipconfig
elease (with space in between) then close the console and continue it should show it now this might require you to disable and reenable your network driver in "device manager" or right clicking the internet icon in your tray then "Network And Internet Settings" then "Advanced Network Settings" and clicking disable on "Ethernet" wait like 3 sec then enable it again
also don't worry about Microsoft apps you just have to login once into the store then tell it to not login in every app automatically so you can pick the apps it should login sneaky Microsoft in windows 10 with their skype being logged in and some random person calling me i wasn't even aware skype was installed it was a literal wtf moment
and that is the end of my essay XD
