    The new Account Menu is okay but big issue for me is the actual option to lock and sign out from the account is now hidden. Those two option must be always viable when user opens that menu which has been a thing since forever. Even signing out to websites, they show sign out button. This new menu will just be more annoying and will gain more frustrated users.

    When I say "Windows 11 is the worst operating system I have ever experienced in my entire life", people tend to think I'm exaggerating. They think it's hyperbole. Well, it's not hyperbole. I'm not exaggerating. Windows 11 is astonishingly bad, in my opinion.

      yeah windows is a bloated os made by a big corp. this is why I use linux. sure gnome has some bloat but it's not as much compared to windows, there like 2-3 apps I personally don't use but many would find useful. there are a few apps for god knows why are uninstallable but this is gnomes part not linux. Gnome is a desktop experience that's suppose to be user friendly. That's my only complaint, other than that Linux is better, the software center has actual apps I want not movies or paid apps and there no ads on my OS. Just the way it should be.

    So happy I switched to a MacBook Pro from my old laptop because of Windows 11. Don’t get me wrong, Mac/Apple has its problems. But I’ll take that over what Microsoft is doing with Windows. My desktop that is “not eligible to upgrade” I had planned on forcing W11 onto it anyway. But now I’m super happy I switched it to Ubuntu. I genuinely hope I never have to touch Windows or Microsoft again. I just with it wouldn’t be such a pain to switch everything to a different email provider.

    I hate what windows has become, nothing has gotten better with the UI since XP only worse and the OS is consuming enormous amounts of resources now when the goal of an OS should be to run as metal as possible while consuming as little as possible and the fact Tiny windows 11 exists means M$ could very optmize the OS but doesn't give a damn about its users so doesn't. I can only hope more and more gamers start embracing steam os and windows starts losing share making them wise up.

  • @kornkernel2232
    @kornkernel2232 2 месяца назад

    Sadly this will get worse since the new Windows lead came from Web Services and MSN department which their strategy is always promote their services and will shove ads as much as they can. Panos will be missed here since at least he had a mission to just make Windows cleaner and beautiful, though still has ads because Microsoft as a whole wants it, but his leadership is more focused on trying to polish Windows.

  • @gianniandreoli91
    @gianniandreoli91 2 месяца назад

    Even if I dislike all of that ads, Microsoft is doing what Android (Google) have dove for several years, with a difference, disabling all those ads on Windows is sometimes easier than doing so on a smartphone, moreover you are free to use other OS, instead some smartphone are locked. But this do not justify that shady behavior.

    I'm just sitting here as "that Linux guy" in the comments. Ad free, no MS account requirement, and all my applications and games (Windows and otherwise) run fine. Obviously your mileage will vary but if you can give it a try I'd say do it on an old PC you upgrade from or something first to work out issues. Also always back up your data to a USB drive or CD/DVDs. Cloud is nice but that's just someone elses computer you are uploading your files to. Still it's an option as well if you don't mind putting your stuff on other peoples computers.

    Google and Apple also does this and many android oems are also notorious at pushing ads to their manufactured devices. Why is it when Microsoft do the thing it suddenly becomes a big deal? Can you do a Samsung pushing ads video as well or Apple enticing me to buy Apple Music subscription the very first time I boot up the phone? Or Apple enticing me to buy ICloud if my storage is low? I know these are annoying but I think its unfair to just call out Microsoft. Call all the companies who pushes annoying/invasive ads!

      This is a channel that talks about windows. Of course when other companies do it they should also be called out, i think they are just being more subtle right now, which makes people think it is not a bug deal.

    1. Tip on the ad in installing Windows 11, Guess what?, That kind of ad shows up also upon the installation processes of Windows 10 too more so in the process of making an offline account and installing Windows offline because some of Microsoft's apps that are built into the OS requires an online account for them to fully work properly.
    2. Start Menu ads?, That also happens in Windows 10's Start Menu too.
    3. Ads in search. If you are searching anything in particular then guess what?, You will see ads period because they come based on what you are searching for ad that is regardless of what search engine that you use.
