There are no laws against jaywalking, so you can cross the street wherever you want! In tourist areas or on busy roads, there will be crossings you can use.

I live in London and have had a whopping 8 months between jobs, at age 48. (I got a nice big pay-out from my last job to cover it). So I've been doing big 10 miles walks most days in London with my camera equipment, just really re-learning the city and improving my photography. It's been such a zen thing. My new job starts soon and it's a big one, but I'll never forget this special 2023 and all the self-discovery that came with seeing so many new parts of my home city. A nice warm feeling inside.
Some day I'll visit New York or Washington again, as I haven't been overseas in more than 20 years. Back then, I was blown away by how New York seemed to have a kinda 'Serbian St' and a 'Turkish St' etc. So many pocket communities, which I love.

The cat is a Scottish Fold. Though incredibly cute, breeding is banned in many countries including Scotland. Their appearance is down to a gene mutation that tends to cause severe problems as they age.
