Next time you go to London - Get out of central.. there are hundreds of villages across London, that are so pretty and quiet, with cute high streets that have cafes, coffee shops etc. These places are the 'real' London. I recommend these places for you: Chiswick, Richmond, Kew, Notting Hill, Chelsea, Fulham, Wimbledon Village, Barnes, Ealing, Hampstead, Belgravia, Muswell Hill, Barnet, Islington, Clapham Common, Dulwich, Black Heath. (Most Londoners live outside of central and just visit the busy areas for work)

You know, what’s on youtube are videos that are basically “hey we’re moving to France and buying a chateau in the countryside” or “I just moved to Paris!” or “We went on a 2 day vacation in Lyon!” So your video is, man, maybe the only one I’ve been able to find. In months of looking. So yeah, thanks for all the specific insights, tools and details. Looking at your channel, it looks like all these months later you’ve had some changes in your life, but I’ll watch them from the start and enjoy the full journey. Maybe I can think of a few questions, oh ok I have some now. Please feel free to skip any you prefer not to answer Where did you move there from? What level of French did you have when you arrived? You mentioned getting turned down when you didn’t have an actual person as a guarantor-is it possible to apply and say up front, “I’m using GarantMe” so you don’t have to play that game later? It sounds like you did eventually do that. I forgot the last thing…OH! Where did you stay during that month of looking? AirBNB? Student housing? Hotel? Hostel?
