the bank will return your money and then it is supposed to contact the seller to clarify the case. and if they decide that charge back is not valid, they will bill you again. at least that what my bank told me, when I requested a charge back for mobile service I didn't receive

Love STG and love Van. He’s legit. I’m a loyal STG shopper. This is an unfortunate situation for STG. I’m sure everyone agrees that Ryan is trying to scam STG. I work in healthcare and our clientele are people who need medical care. When they’re dissatisfied they file all sorts of charges against the hospital and then quality control and compliance get involved. We then develop new best practice and other safeguards. Van, I wonder if for future orders on big ticket items like exhausts, would it benefit your shop if you took a photo of the actual item and all its contents and include it in a personal automated email to the customer as a visual. I know it gets tricky because you’d have to open the packaging and cut the tape around the styrofoam and then it’s not technically “new and unopened,” etc. but at least they’d see exactly what they’d getting, in addition to the professional link, description, and video from your website. But maybe it can be a new quality control feature from STG. Just thinking outside the box. Because these bad people could make up any story they wanted and courts of law would ask you as the business owner if you physically trusted and verified that the actual item was the one being sent. Anyway, keep doing great things for our community, Van. You’re a great one. 👍🏽🫡🤩

They didn’t give him a refund. Ryan filed for a chargeback where you basically tell your bank it was a bad charge so the bank does the refund.

Amazon is the reason that this happens alot to online retailers. Their policy of customer is always right even when they aren't and having automatic returns based on automated one click return policies that no human even sees, has created a culture of scammers that take full advantage of fraud returns like this and it costs small business a lot of money. It has turned generally nice people into scammers as well.

99.9% of the time your bank will laugh and tell you to take it up with the place of purchase when requesting a charge back or refund. I doubt they will grant his request but if so he must’ve found the one bank in America gullible enough to actually do it.

that's just how banks work. the refund the money to their customer first, then they investigate the claim from the company. they will likely find out about your company "STG" and find this video and find that their customer is not eligible for a refund and will have his bank balance deducted

Have never done a charge back before but have gone through a fraud claim through my bank. Isnt there someone on the other end to plead your case? Does the bank not reach out to you to get your side of the story or are you able to contact the bank?

I’m confused. How does Ryan have STG’s product and his money? Doesn’t the chargeback only get released when the product is received by the seller? I have returned items in the past and only received my money back when the seller verified they have their product
