    For what it's worth, we're struggling with fulfillment issues at RevZilla as well, this isn't something unique to STG. Hopefully the majority of folks realize that we operate in a global economy and at this point the world is still working to get back on its feet. If we could restock our shelves faster, we would. We're in the business of serving our customers, not disappointing them. And I'm betting Brian and his team feel the same way. Stay sane out there, America.

      I have ordered from both companies and have had great service from both companies...I even applied to work at RevZilla back when I lived in Philly and worked at the Mustang place in Malvern.     Wife's been working in grocery business for about 28 years, and she comes home to tell some terrible stories about being verbally abused by crazy/drunk/high/maniacal customers, as well as being physically threatened by them from time to time. It's very frustrating to continually hear, especially when her employer (rhymes with Albertson's) won't back her up and lets these clowns back in the store like nothing happened. Anyway I always go out of my way to be polite, reasonable, and patient with anyone dealing in customer service, cuz you guys have to deal with some real pieces of shit sometimes. Your stance with these types of jackass customers, and your willingness to support guys like Cody through the situation is another reason why I will continue to do business with STG. -TR

    This is actually pretty sad. STG has always been good to me even in these crazy times we find ourselves in. COVID has thrown everything for a loop, but as Van stated, everything is noted clear as day on the site about possible delays.

    I must have missed this one before, but man this is gold! Cody, first of all is a boss, and has helped me plenty of times from my dumb and easy questions to my more complicated "I screwed up and ordered the wrong titanium exhaust" mistake.     WOW... Thank you Van for calling out shitty customer experiences! I wish all businesses would stand up to garbage people that try to belittle companies and employees for their own personal gain. Obviously this person has never worked in any retail/customer service setting. Probably needs the heat shield so they don't melt their flip flops squiding around in shorts.

    I will be 100% honest, early on when Covid-19 first started changing the world, I was one of these customers that bitched to STG about delivery times. But even with my angry messages the staff at STG was nothing but helpful and eventually I got my stuff (Alot quicker than bigger retailers, looking at you Amazon). Since then I have made multiple orders from STG and even had The Man himself answer my questions here on RUclips. I love everything STG does and I will continue to support them.

    This is one of the best places to buy your motorcycle parts at I literally have no bad things to say I bought the akrapovic full system and many more parts from them and nothing bad to say they have videos and reviews on almost every product they have and if you ever have a question even on RUclips they answer within the hour

    This is something that retail has brought onto themselves with the "customer is always right". Now they cant stop it. From buying paper towel to airline tickets. I have been making purchases with STG for over 6 years, no issue.

    Thanks for sharing! I have never had an issue with any order I have ever had through STG. I only ever called customer service one time. That one time was when I was buying a new race suit. The A-Stars size chart was all over the map, or maybe I couldnt understand it. Anyway I called customer service to talk it out with some one who knows better. In the end they spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with me, talked me off the sizing ledge, ordered the suit and it fot spot on when I got it. Keep doing what you do. Thanks for being awesome.

    This guy is unbelievable. Clearly he is doing something wrong because I have been sourcing parts through STG for years, at least a decade, and have not had a single problem. Literally thousands of dollars of parts for multiple bikes (to repair my multiple crashes). Not one problem…ever. In fact, during the pandemic, Cody has helped me avoid delays on some gear that was going to be long lead due to shipping or availability delays. Helped me find an alternate product that did the job and got to me in time to go to the track. I don’t know how anyone could have anything but good things to say about Brian and his crew.

    I can say 100% that STG is the absolute best place to shop. Awesome, helpful team and great prices. Brian was a certified service tech I’m pretty sure and he works A LOT on all sorts of bikes so the reviews and how to videos on products are top notch. Max even races with a lot of the parts STG sells. If that’s not standing behind your work and your word, I don’t know what is.

    What a terrible customer, and what terrible things to say to someone who's just trying to help. I have made many orders from STG over the years, and I have only ever received perfect service. Almost all of my orders were made over the phone, and the person on the other end was always polite, and did everything they could to help me. I am an international customer, and my accent is probably very hard to understand. This was no problem for the people at STG. They make me feel welcome, and make every shopping experience a good one. Thank you.

    Wow....just wow. I like this series because it's good to get feedback from a business owner on things like this. Only reason I don't shop STG more is that the 2020 Ducati SS S is not in the bike finder for parts. The gear and parts videos you do are very helpful, and thanks for that!

    i respect seeing the actual guy that owns it, idc if it takes 6 months,. you still would have that respect over a huge walmart style company who hires a kid with zero knowledge giving you advice.     Your videos are some of the best in the internet i have ever seen when it comes to reviewing items. You review not just the content and specifications of the items, but also the honest opinion and feedback on them.

    I gained a whole new respect for good retail sales people after working for an auto parts store for a couple of years. The things I experienced were crazy. For example, if a person thought the price was too high, they acted like I was pricing products, or if a part failed it's the guy selling them that produced an inferior product.
    Relax folks. If you want to be angry with anyone, look towards Yahoo's running the country.

    I'm working parts at a shop too. SSDD, for all this. So many times people will order something in then they'll cancel when they see it online, then buy through us again when it has a 2-4 week ship time. I think all of us are having supply chain issues, but luckily I'm dealing with people in person generally and they are not this bad.

    Bumped into the STG tent at Brainard, Van was clearly focused on something and didn’t want to be a distraction, but I mentioned that I appreciated his videos. I’ve purchased a couple things from STG in the past, after watching this, STG will be the FIRST place I go when shopping. Nobody should have to put up with that kind of crap

    I feel so bad for Cody and STG. I use to have a similar job for an outdoors company. forced me to quit because of people like this. I did find it funny when he said you have no idea who I am but I know who you are, Along with the fact that a family hired him to find Cody 😂. Not only would Cody be able to look up this guys info. But for a lot of chat services you get to see there Location/ IP and can reverse search it back. Keep doing great work Y'all! Cody deserves A raise, A cuddle, Or something.

    I ORDER ALL the time from STG I have spent plenty of money there.
    My favorite place to order from shipping has always been fast regardless of covid delays in my experience.
    NEVER EVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH ANY ORDER!!!!

    When I was a roadracer, I did business with STG at least a dozen times, and had nothing but awesome prices, quick shipping and good service.
    If that’s “Getto” I’ll take it.
    Fact is, the internet has spawned a whole generation of clowns that are used to being able to spout the most outlandish nonsense without the self censoring that regular adults have always employed due to the reality of possibly being punched in the mouth for their absolutely insane behavior.

    As a very happy customer of STG, try not to get too ruffled by these kind of people. Some people seem to think the world revolves around them and their every need comes before everything. They are scummy spare parts. You guys not only have a quality goods but orders I've made I was always communicated with, promptly of anything going on with my order. All of you guys over there just need to keep up the great work you've been doing and plenty of us sane people will remain thrilled to do business at STG.

    Wtf ! Who let crazies out ?!? I can't speak on Cody but Josh has helped me out before and from what I've seen STG has excellent customer service keep it up guys . The wife works in customer service gor a bank and has to deal with shit like this all the time .

    Since the advent of covid and the problems it's created, I've really tried to be far more patient and appreciative of folks in in the service/sales industries. After all, these folks could be staying home and enjoying govt. checks yet they've decided to work so I applaud them.
    The one thing I would ask for from suppliers is this: just keep us customers in the loop. Ex: about 6 weeks back I ordered some parts for my Z900RS from another moto-vendor. I didn't see the iniitial note that said the items were backordered. I emailed the supplier and inquired "how long?". It took them a while to respond. 3 weeks later and no items so I emailed again but it again took them days to respond. This happened over & over again, quasi-promises the items would be shipped shortly.
    At the 5 week mark I inquired again and again it took days to respond. By that point I was frustrated w/the lack of communication, as if I was an interruption of their day, and informed them to cancel my order if it wasn't shipped ASAP. Amazingly, later that day I got a shipping order for my items. Well that was 3 days ago and the items still haven't shipped. That's inexcusable.
    Once I finally have these items in my possession, I will do the only thing reasonable and never order from that company again. I tried being patient and polite but that didn't work. A simple, responsive and quick email from them time to time to keep me updated would've satisficed me but they chose instead to ignore me.
    Buyers and sellers are in this together. We're partners on the opposite side of the same coin. We've got treat each other w/respect if we all want to get what we want.

      Backorders are very difficult to manage. Using us as an example with the volume we do it would be near impossible to manage back order delivery dates. This is so challenging there have been times where we stopped accepting any backorders at all. When we did this customers kept asking for us to accept backorders again.
      I know have the team making the customer aware we are unable to reach out with updates before they confirm the backorder and ask them to advise the customer to reach out when they need an update. We will continue looking for a better solution but have not been able to find one that will work with the volume we do. - Van

      @@sportbiketrackgear I can understand your response from STG; it' s a very large supplier and I can appreciate your viewpoint. The vendor I'm dealing with is much smaller and as the son of small business merchant, I always try to help out the little guy w/my purchases. But in exchange, I expect better, more personal customer service. In that aspect, this vendor has failed in my opinion and likely will fall to the larger vendors like STG, Revzilla, Cycle Gear etc if they don't get their act together.
      Doing business online is generally so impersonal, especially since items like what I ordered are not readily available in a brick and mortar establishment. It's also one of the negatives of the online ordering aspects. Personally, I prefer face to face even if it means a few more $$ out of my wallet. Vendors- both on & offline- need to keep that in consideration if they wish to maintain those business relationships.
