I enjoyed it. I think there’s some high expectations with calling it the scariest movie ever. Setting false expectations for the majority.

I hated the movie - hated Nick cage as the bad guy, hated the unnecessary scenes of the detective walking up the stairs or shots of her driving, or walking through every single room of a house to answer the phone, hated the convoluted calendar, the confusing doll, the orb, satanism, half-psychic, the mom.... So much had nothing to add to the plot. Loved the artistic photography, sound design, and mood, but that's about it. Nicholas Cage just always comes off as a clown - this Chara reminded me of his role in Kick-Ass. they could have cast someone who made this way more terrifying. I also hated most of the decisions the characters made. Most reviewers on RUclips have been gassing this movie up to be some amazing movie, but it really missed the mark. AND WHY IS IT CALLED LONG LEGS?! 😂
@fvoconnor Bummer that you hated the experience. For calling it Longlegs, it sounds like they are all kids, and they have to look up to him, and at the kids' perspective, he has long legs.
