Also if anyone wants to know about the duckling scene - The child actor was instructed to hold a pair of prop legs against the backside of the duck. You can see the duck is actually facing away from the camera but has been called to turn it's head, giving the illusion that it is facing the other direction and that the fake legs pinched between the boys fingers are oriented correctly. Absolutely genius SFX work.

This film will be a Cult Classic in the future, Mark my words. Matt Dillon performance as this unreedemable, vile and disturbing serial killer is one of the best performances I have ever seen by any Actor! Easily Oscar Worthy and he got snubbed that year.

This interview was very good. I have not seen many movies with Matt Dillon, but I really love the house that jack built. Jack is a character, that truly amazed me, and Matt was the perfect choice. I thought about the movie and the performances of the actors for 2 weeks. It was a movie, that truly Got me thinking. And I thank the whole crew for bringing this piece of art to life

A few weeks ago, I did watched the film, and it was like an ode to Von Trier's filmography. Moreover, I never thought that Matt was going to play a character like that, because I was used to see him to star in Comedy films. Nevertheless, he amazed me as much as the whole cast, so thank you Lars for casting him for the starring role.
