72 seats is 72 too many. Who is still voting for these shysters?
So funny my friend I literally said exactly this earlier today😂. The high tax Fake CONservatives deserve 0 seats. Vote REFORM 🇬🇧
Quite. Though hearteningly, every blooming time I see a new seat figure for the Tories it's significantly smaller.

72 seats for Tories will be a very bad election night for me as i don't want them to win any seat.
Quite right, everyone wants to see them replaced with Reform, the real conservative party.
Your not the only one.
I like the Canadian version where there's a couple on the Brexit supporting backbenches just to remind the country of the hubristic Tories.

@@bricks2850 Tories honouring promises? What a quaint idea.
From a majority of 80 seats, to a total of (less than) 80 seats. Quite some legacy Sunak is leaving behind.

A 'supermajority' is meaningless in UK politics. You either have a majority, or you don't. If you have a majority, there's nothing you can't do.
Not entirely. A larger majority does make you more comfortable. The small majority Major won in 1992 soon became a minority due to by-election losses
Wrong. Witth a small majority you are at the mercy of he nutters on tthe fringes of your party. You are also always worried about how the next by-election will turn out.
Agreed, it's another Americanism. It's meaningless in a UK context.
The Conservatives had a supermajority in 2019 by any reasonable measure. Funnily enough, I didn't hear them crying about it then.

The behaviour of MP's from all parties post the BREXIT Referendum shows how the Parliamentary Parties are out of step with public opinion. MP's are there to serve the public not to ride the "Gravy Train" & peruse their own agendas for 5 years.
