25 Nov 2021: Nadine Dorries, the Secretary of State for DCMS who does not even know how C4 is funded. She thinks it gets public money. I guess she has not worked out that C4 is funded by advertising.😂
In making the case for selling Channel 4, Nadine Dorries points to the success of Channel 5's privatisation, not once, but twice. Channel 5 has never been owned by the government.😂

There's something irritating about watching the media and Tory MP's gloating and pointing, suddenly acting as if they had nothing to do with the increased unpopularity of the party. All this has been long in the making, and we haven't forgotten the players, BTW. Certainly whilst the likes of Dorries and Andrew Neil were towing or backing up the party line. Start owning your role in what's happening.

the first question assumes that Dorries knows what the Bataan death march was; I very much think that this isn't the case.
The difficult five years that she predicts is very much caused by the scorched earth policy that she and her party have inflicted on the nation and the widespread distrust of politicians is very much also down to her party who claimed that we were "all in this together" whilst creating a society where most people struggle to live and then giving massive tax cuts to the hyper wealthy. Then there was the utterly fradulent fiasco of brexit.
Oh, and her love object partying while people died wasn't a good look either.

The Tories died on the day that David Cameron was elected Party Leader over David Davies. I strongly suspect that the vote was riggeed because Davies was a much more popular person than David Cameron ! Of course few folk knew that Camerons real name is David Levita and he is descended from Emile Levita, an East European Jewish Banker who came to live in the UK in the mid 1800's. Obviously it was considered that the name ,'Levita', is much less popular than ,'Cameron', but I am left wondering why nobody ever pointed out that the ,'Heir to Blair', now Lord Cameron was going under a fake name ??

Sounds like hypocrisy to me because Starmer was hedging his bets - just in case Corbyn had won and he wanted a senior position in that government. Nevertheless a strange / unconvincing reply under any circumstances.
