This scene was funny to me because when she(Amelia) to Derek who the guy was she said Tod but it was Tom so he just looked at Mer like here we go again and just walked away HAHA PRICELESS

Amelia is 7 years younger than Derek, Derek is born in 1966 according to some obscure papers after his death, and thats when Dempsey was legit born. That would put Amelia born in 1973. On the other hand, Mark was born in december 1968 according to his grave. Mark and Derek are childhood friends, I can't see them being almost 3 years apart in age, so if Derek is then born in 68/69, then Amelia would be born in 75/76. Either way she is older than Meredith. The actresses on the other hand are the opposite, Pompeo played a younger character, while Amelia played an older one.
