- Most of us have places we go to reconnect with our roots, especially at Christmas. This is where I grew up and as a kid I always dreamed of driving these roads in a car like this, so a few days ago Simon took 24 hours out and headed to Tuscany just to remember. Making yourself deaf never felt so good.

Beautiful video of a wonderful car! I would love to see some mostly faithful replicas of the TZ-1 and TZ-2 cars. In the early 1990s there was a TZ-1 replica, I don't know how far it got, it had a faithful tubular space frame, used Alfa running gear. Alfa is doing a sort of Type-33 retro car but it is beyond anyone's budget and all of them are spoken for.

Unrelated but curious: do you modify these cars so that you can fit in them or do they naturally accommodate someone of your height?
This car happens to accomodate Simon's stature because the driving position is that of a race car with sufficient legroom. In other cars like the Countach we ask the restorers to make some slight modifications to gain a few inches.

@@AM4project ci sono già abbastanza repliche ;) ! Comunque erano disegnate e fatte in vetroresina dalla Zagato e poi costruite in collaborazione con l'Autodelta.
@@KidstonProductions grazie per le info, quindi l auto nel video non è una replica? Il contagiri sembra veglia e non jaeger, so che ci sono alcune repliche su strada ma non è una cosa negativa.
@@AM4project Gli strumenti sono Jaeger e la macchina è una delle 8 originali! Si, le repliche non sono un problema di per se, ma lo diventano quando non ammettono di esserlo...
