Luke has to try but by the time he gets there it's a near guarantee she's already grabbed a pen and written down everything. There's no way out for him.
TBF when her boyfriend was in the house he has no grounds for self defence anyway as he forced entry. If he could clean up the Ashley thing without anyone finding out he is a crazy boyfriend who broke into a strangers house, and Luke was just defending himself with what he had at his disposal. And also mentioning Luke had no suspicion of anything going on. If they couldd get the Ashley plan back on track Ricky would be in jail and it could be framed as Ashley raiding the alcohol and her crazy boyufriend broke in trying to look for her, only to be stopped by Luke
The boy fumbling the bag so badly that he tossed the phone into a fish tank is a contrived way for them to not call the police. She would've told boys to use one of their phones.
@@curtisgoldthorpe6656 I'm not saying it like it's some blink and you miss it detail. I'm saying it's an awkward moment in the movie. And how could he plan for this? What if she took her phone with her or if she left it in a place where he can't pretend to drop it in a fish tank? Or what if instead of saying ''Toss me my phone!'' she would've just walked and taken it from him? It would take probably less time.
Rule of thumb: If you are babysitting and your underage client start becoming creepy and touchy, you have to GTFO. This shit is way above your pay grade.
I find it hilarious how contrived you guys have to make each episode just to put in some catch phrases. Ashley is actually a smart survivor who uses her surroundings and knowledge available to her wisely. She is a human with human emotions and responds to them as a person would. The only time she does a wrong thing is when she doesn't push her boyfriend out of the way of the paint bucket.
Not true. She makes plenty of mistakes. First - she trusts a kid with a presumably loaded gun. Second - the never secures a weapon for herself, relying only on him. Third - when she discovers it's a prank - she does not take the shotgun away from the nerdy kid. Fourth - she turns her back to an armed psychopath and literally walks into a trap. Fifth - she tells the "Bundy Bros" of her intentions, instead of running away instantly. Sixth - she does not call the police at the first sign of trouble. And there is a lot more.
Kid was a budding sociopath. First target was his babysitter. Next could be the classmate he replaces her with. I dunno y but I could see a sequel to this where this kid either continues to stalk his former babysitter or goes after another girl
You know what ending would have been awesome? She keeps Luke busy long enough for his parents to come home and when they come in she thinks she's saved but they look at Luke and say "not again, remember how hard it was to clean up the last mess"? and then all the hope disappears from her face and then we cut to credits.
Sorry. He is CLEARLY not a sociopath! He's a psychopath. He thinks things through, he's happy, he always has a plan and he's built up a clean reputation with his friends. A sociopath would have some sort of trauma and be kind of bad at hiding it. He's a psychopath. Not a sociopath.
I'd just sit and play his games(like truth or action and always choose truth) until I have a chance to escape/his parents arrive. I know that he might get bored and would invent smthng else but I'd adapt to changes and be as calm as I can. He doesn't want to kill me after all… just yet
Well, generally movies about serial killers do a lot better when the subject of the movie is how they got caught, as opposed to how they became what they are.
Because it was filmed in Australia. Older homes in Australia have high door knobs. @@sweetness371 Oh well I guess that explains why for like a few seconds when Ashley was struggling in the chair, you can kinda see the tape on her arms come off. Even tho it was implied she was going to use the glass to cut through. Still a good movie tho
