    I got 2006 with 195x miles it does burn oil but as long as you check on it it’s good recently installed a new transmission

    I would personally not consider a high mileage RSX that is salvaged. But if it’s around 150-180 clean tittle and well maintained these cars could go to 300,000 + with proper care mines went to 248k before I sold

    I purchased 2006 acura base 5spd with 183,000 miles for $2500 so far the only big thing I have done is the rear mainseal and exedy rsx type s clutch kit and lightweight flywheel and me and my buddy did all the work ourselves those cars are easy to work on I love mine to death

      @@AdairReal Oh you need to take in consideration what kind of torque and horsepower numbers are you going to be running in his car going to be a daily driver or a weekend toy as well as will this car be a track car only take that into mind as well

    I would say NO. Even for a 05-06 still a fifteen year old car. I wouldn’t get a high mileage car. I made sure to find a low mile RSX before buying. Just my recommendation

  • @nolahahnshouse3389

    That depends on what you call high mileage..the rsx I owned a few years ago had 150,000 thousand miles on it before I sold it.

    • @leonelobbed
      @leonelobbed  3 года назад +1

      Yes it depends on a person’s perspective. But generally a car with 160k to 175k can be considered high mileage in my opinion. Still with high miles, they’re great cars

    I just picked up a 2006 Acura RSX type S with 180,000 something miles on it for 3,250$ I had my buddy drive it “mechanic” he said everything was perfect I was talking to the guy that was selling it for his brother he said he took it to Acura for everything all original drivers seat has a small tear and im going to fix the front windshield and a seal that’s leaking but it’s a steal for a 4000$ to 8000$ car I’m really happy I got it also I subscribed

    Love your channel man. I just subscribed to it. I Just bought a 06 rsx with 70k original miles on it. But it’s automatic. Would you recommend doing any mods to a automatic or just leaving it stock?

      Thats awesome man!! Thank you so much for subbing. And in regards to modifying, it really depends on what you want the car to do for you. Autos a bit harder to get performance from.. you could make it a really clean looking RSX and modify exterior i dont know! 🤷🏽‍♂️ Hehe you do you! New videos coming soon
