I myself have traded lots of times paying "double" the price just cause I needed item now. Don't see any issue in paying more but not wasting time if I can afford it. It's all pixels after all and I wasted enough my time getting my pixels already

How would you "calculate value" when it's based on demand? Llama is just guessing based on experience and his guesses are kind of accurate but they are still just estimations.

Yeah there are some exception at launch of a ladder (varies in time) like Vex = Ohm (HOTO too popular) and Lo because Grief is broken and its BIS for Smither. If I remembered correctly, in PoD you were selling BER for 4-5 HR. PoD may have slightly a different economy because of some nerf but still... the list above was the standard forever by everyone and its just a fact.
Some things you point out, may not have high "value" but things are sought after, for reasons, and anyone willing to pony up for what they seek, may be worthwhile... For instance.. low level dueling is a thing.. Twitchthroe armor.. is insanely good for the level and purpose.. "Value" is relative to two peoples agreement.. 🤪
I was doing CS runs and I had a Mara's drop. I wasn't looking for it or expecting it but when I saw a unique amulet drop my heart rate went up so fast lol. Then again you never find anything when you're looking for it is what I have come to find out in D2.
I believe the value right now can not be determined by the value from classic d2. Since no one has these items or runes yet. Without the goods, the value of "bad" items is much higher.

No, sorry, you could put a zod rune in it, but that's not worth doing. The rune is worth waaaaaay more than making an eth indestructible. Zod rune is the second most rare drop in the game. Vipermagi will drop pretty easily in comparison for a second time, long before you get a zod rune.

Can you explain why some runes are more valuable than others? Like I know some runes make better runewords than others but, is it the rarity? Cus I always thought Zod was the rarest but it doesn't seem to be the most valuable.
You just answered your own question. Ber runes for example are used in one if the most, if not most used rune word Enigma. Zod is still considered the rarest rune though
Yep it just has to do with runewords, Zod is the rarest though I’ve never seen one drop ever. But they only used in EBOTD or to make a good eth wep indestructible so still very valuable, but grief outshines ebotd in most builds especially 1h weapon or dual wep builds.
Some are decent like vipermagi, good rolled ormus but yea very few, thing is items changed in value and more items were added in later patches, so something that was “valuable” or best at one time got outshined later, especially with runewords. For example grandfather used to be the best melee barb weapon, silks was the best in classic etc.
@@Grimba86 Going classic could be very interesting. I remember back then stuff like Goldskin, Tarn, Silks, and Heavenly Garb were sought after. I've found all of those in D2R and back in the day it would be great but now it's disappointment.
You say bringing 3pgems to and trade is worth nothing but, I always ask for some pgems when I trade, if I get 3 I have an other Chance on rolling my Grand Charm as a Skiller. As a trader you will get a ton of Bonus Chances on Skillers just because of asking of them at the end of a trade negotiation.
i've watched it several times for the armor bases and I'm either deaf or dumb.. or maybe both lol. but does the video ever say what the armor bases are worth? got 2 3os archons, 3os dusk, some 2os serpernts for neflum, 4os balrog, and some others.. no clue what runes i could/should trade for..
atm they aren't worth much pul- um. for bases to be worth alot, you need them to be perfect and have low str requirement. atm, a 3os 15ed dusk or ap/mp is between 3-10 ists
It's important to remember that you cannot cube recipe sockets into an ED ethereal base but, Larzuk quest does have the ability to give the ED ethereal base it's max sockets. So there's that.
That's not true. The cube recipe is made for especially ED bases. It can NOT be used for already sockets items. But everything else works 100% regardless of what it is be it rarest, magical, unique, set, low quality, junks, normal, superior, enh def, enh dmg%, combinations of both enh dmg and enh def and etc.
Sood my 3/4ths built enigma din gear for 250 yesterday. Its non ladder and prices are plumetting. Got a PM for a cash offer on jsp and couldnt resist. I'll come back for ladder and then gear my PVP chars NL after that
@@Krunchamunch220 Larzuk will always add maximum sockets possible for a given item (provided it has high enough lvl). You can try socketing it in horadric cube (weapon+amn+ral+perf amethyst). Just a warning: socketing in a cube is risky (we may end up getting 1 socket), but its the only reliable way of obtaining 4 os etheral elite polearms (threshers, cryptic axes, great poleaxes and giant threshers) for runeword purposes
Perfect gems where more costli. Not shure how its now. But around 20 pg was pull and 40 was ist. If there where mixed you could get up to vex mal. Pure ametist, rubys and spahiers where high rune jah ber cham zod depended on the dealer. If you suplied alot he whould give you better one ocasionali. And someone whould ask. Why perfect gems whats on it. Well any 3 can shufle great charm and from usles get maibe a skiler. Others where used in crafting of orange items. Ametist where used in E-bugging. So maibe their value droped now. :D
I was hoping to hear exactly how much a griffons eye is worth because I found one yesterday that was 16/15, that I really wanted for my future Javazon but somebody offered me 4 Ist runes and 2 MAL runes and I felt that was an even trade, something inside of me felt like 6 runes felt more even of a trade but there was a stronger force inside of me that felt greedy for even feeling like 6 Ists was a fair trade.
It's a fair trade as there are cheaper alternatives like a tarn helm for almost free. But for lightning builds its worth whatever someone desperate want to pay for it especially for the dmg boost.

Dude sometimes you say things is just so wrong I'm just gonna have to chime in about it. They fixing the metal grid by using on other characters that log out and then their iron goal is gone now it stays with you... Like a beast master drew it or characters at characters that have minions who make a to make a runeword weapon and add the like a thorn's aura or concentration aura etc. To boost your minions. Druids, assasins etc. Now the iron golem stays after you log out.

I don't believe it was stated but you want ethereal for mercenaries because they don't take durability damage iirc.

If that ormus has +15% cold damage, its worth big money, especially with the new changes(bugs?) With Cold Mastery effecting Cold Immunes

No, sorry, you could put a zod rune in it, but that's not worth doing. The rune is worth waaaaaay more than making an eth indestructible. Zod rune is the second most rare drop in the game. Vipermagi will drop pretty easily in comparison for a second time, long before you get a zod rune.

Can you explain why some runes are more valuable than others? Like I know some runes make better runewords than others but, is it the rarity? Cus I always thought Zod was the rarest but it doesn't seem to be the most valuable.
You just answered your own question. Ber runes for example are used in one if the most, if not most used rune word Enigma. Zod is still considered the rarest rune though
Yep it just has to do with runewords, Zod is the rarest though I’ve never seen one drop ever. But they only used in EBOTD or to make a good eth wep indestructible so still very valuable, but grief outshines ebotd in most builds especially 1h weapon or dual wep builds.
Some problems with the game design if the rarest unique armors have no use.
Some are decent like vipermagi, good rolled ormus but yea very few, thing is items changed in value and more items were added in later patches, so something that was “valuable” or best at one time got outshined later, especially with runewords. For example grandfather used to be the best melee barb weapon, silks was the best in classic etc.

Yeah runewords have broken the itemization. You have the option to go classic where the economy is much different and uniques/sets actually matter.
@@Grimba86 Going classic could be very interesting. I remember back then stuff like Goldskin, Tarn, Silks, and Heavenly Garb were sought after. I've found all of those in D2R and back in the day it would be great but now it's disappointment.

You say bringing 3pgems to and trade is worth nothing but, I always ask for some pgems when I trade, if I get 3 I have an other Chance on rolling my Grand Charm as a Skiller. As a trader you will get a ton of Bonus Chances on Skillers just because of asking of them at the end of a trade negotiation.
i've watched it several times for the armor bases and I'm either deaf or dumb.. or maybe both lol. but does the video ever say what the armor bases are worth? got 2 3os archons, 3os dusk, some 2os serpernts for neflum, 4os balrog, and some others.. no clue what runes i could/should trade for..
atm they aren't worth much pul- um. for bases to be worth alot, you need them to be perfect and have low str requirement. atm, a 3os 15ed dusk or ap/mp is between 3-10 ists

It's important to remember that you cannot cube recipe sockets into an ED ethereal base but, Larzuk quest does have the ability to give the ED ethereal base it's max sockets. So there's that.
That's not true. The cube recipe is made for especially ED bases.
It can NOT be used for already sockets items. But everything else works 100% regardless of what it is be it rarest, magical, unique, set, low quality, junks, normal, superior, enh def, enh dmg%, combinations of both enh dmg and enh def and etc.
Tyerals/templars are very valuable, especially for pvp/dules, people pay a lot on a website lol.

Larzuk will always add maximum sockets possible for a given item (provided it has high enough lvl). You can try socketing it in horadric cube (weapon+amn+ral+perf amethyst). Just a warning: socketing in a cube is risky (we may end up getting 1 socket), but its the only reliable way of obtaining 4 os etheral elite polearms (threshers, cryptic axes, great poleaxes and giant threshers) for runeword purposes
Perfect gems where more costli. Not shure how its now. But around 20 pg was pull and 40 was ist. If there where mixed you could get up to vex mal. Pure ametist, rubys and spahiers where high rune jah ber cham zod depended on the dealer. If you suplied alot he whould give you better one ocasionali. And someone whould ask. Why perfect gems whats on it. Well any 3 can shufle great charm and from usles get maibe a skiler. Others where used in crafting of orange items. Ametist where used in E-bugging. So maibe their value droped now. :D

I was hoping to hear exactly how much a griffons eye is worth because I found one yesterday that was 16/15, that I really wanted for my future Javazon but somebody offered me 4 Ist runes and 2 MAL runes and I felt that was an even trade, something inside of me felt like 6 runes felt more even of a trade but there was a stronger force inside of me that felt greedy for even feeling like 6 Ists was a fair trade.
It's a fair trade as there are cheaper alternatives like a tarn helm for almost free. But for lightning builds its worth whatever someone desperate want to pay for it especially for the dmg boost.

It never fails man I drop multiple times every time I play and on hell it’s pretty shitty to constantly have to restart runs. Honestly I’m done playing it until I hear it’s better
@@edsherwood2173 yeah the connection issues seem to be a widespread problem for a lot of ppl so it's definitely not just an issue your side. It seems like they underestimated the amount of traffic the servers will receive once this game was released and here we are again.
Dude sometimes you say things is just so wrong I'm just gonna have to chime in about it. They fixing the metal grid by using on other characters that log out and then their iron goal is gone now it stays with you... Like a beast master drew it or characters at characters that have minions who make a to make a runeword weapon and add the like a thorn's aura or concentration aura etc. To boost your minions. Druids, assasins etc. Now the iron golem stays after you log out.

@@maximilianfrank8730 a white monarch is easily obtained for a pul rune, using mr llamas prices, you could get roughly 33 pul runes for your sur. You'll struggle to find another drop
