When you want a buttery sweet cookie, that's wonderfully crisp, try these Butter Cookies. I think the best way to describe them is to say they are like an enriched shortbread cookie. This batter is so versatile. You can form the batter into a log shape to make slice and bake cookies. You can chill the batter and roll it out to make cut-out cookies. Хобби

You alwas speak the let people know in grams and mils , also centigrade for the oven . In England we do work in grams and mils and our ovens work in centigrade.

My friend is Czech , she makes these wonderful Christmas cookies , which is this recipes and they make all sorts of tiny cookies each batch has a different flavor and are so wonderful.. she and her mother make them together and she gifts them out..

I love to use almond extract in my butter cookies, in my opinion the flavor is the perfect combination. Back when my Momma got the recipe I use from her best friend she always used just the egg yolks in the cookies. She lightly whisked the whites and brushed the tops of the cookies before the last couple of minutes of baking. I generally just leave them as is or decorate with sprinkles at the most to let the natural flavors shine.

Hi Stephanie! I really think that on top of your great baking skills, you have a good oven! What brand is your oven and do you use the “fan” setting when you bake? 😋😃
I use a GE Profile oven. I use the fan setting. The oven temperature given is for a regular oven. For a fan oven you may need to reduce the temperature by 25F (15C). But it depends on your oven so I would check your manual.

Hi Stephanie. Can I store dry cookie ingredients as a homemade mix in a zipper bag in the freezer for a longer shelf life?
I’ve never tried that, but it should work.

Have u ever considered creating recipes for home made versions of classic chocolate bars using/adapting your previous recipes, for eg a twix or snickers or perhaps even a ferrero roche in traybake form, thus no mould required, they'd be fun and likely go viral (and be delicious too lol)
So... I'm assuming these are the homemade version of what is sold in those tins as "Danish butter cookies". They look delicious! One thing I've never seen you make on your channel, that I would love to see is Baklava!

Hi Stephanie .if you put your dough into the freeser just for 10 min before rolling it maybe it would be easier to roll it in a good circle shape because the dough would be more firm and it would prevent the dough to sag .just an idea from belgium😊
