Am I the only one who finds an immense amount of satisfaction watching Linda clean around the drawer pulls?, or am I just weird? Autumn is my favourite season. I wish the colourful leaves were not so fleeting!🍁🙋♀️🍁

No you aren't alone and it made me want to go clean on a couple pieces of furniture that has hard to clean pulls and other carved features where dust collects....I use lemon oil and a Q-tips. Thank's Linda fir the motivation 🙌💕

It's a little weird but so what.
I always just use soap (Dawn) and water, not afraid to really use the water, a big toothbrush to clean old furniture finds. Let it dry over night then use Howard Restor a Finish Oil if I’m not going to refinish. Works pretty darn good. Happy Fall everyone! 🍂 🍂

I've also had success with using a pick as you did to remove as much of the cleanser as possible, followed by a very soft toothbrush dipped in Lemon oil. Autumn is the time for antiquing, thrift shops and yard sales. Let's go!!

What a beautiful vacation rental! My daughter, sisters and I rented a cottage on a lake in Minnesota last week, it was wonderful and the autumn colors were spectacular! We saw Loons and swans and all kinds of ducks, so fun😀The sunsets were amazing 😍 Thanks for sharing the New England fall foliage, it’s getting colorful here in the western suburbs of Chicago 🍁🍂🍃

Lovely video. Especially appreciate the helpful tip on using a wooden skewer to clean the hardware.
The home's facade is absolutely gorgeous. I love the millwork inside, and I think it would have made more of an impact if the home had been decorated in a Ralph Lauren style, with tartan fabrics, lots of leather, equestrian paintings and accessories and Navajo textiles.

Linda, I’m not sure where they are, but you can definitely find those thin veneer bricks that look old in so many colors and styles! You’ll be pleasantly surprised what you find! We put them on a fireplace two homes ago, and they looked outstanding!

Thank you for the autumn tour. We had to change our fall foliage trip from New England to the mountains of Alabama. Hopefully, next year we will make it North. The rental house was amazing!

Really enjoyed this video with a little bit of everything I enjoy. When it’s gloomy or I am motivated, I like to put on music and lights and thoroughly clean and decorate a room. It’s always satisfying to see how you enjoy one of life’s great pleasures-the first cup of coffee in the morning and greeting the day. Look forward to future endeavors.

Thank You Linda and Ben (and of course, Willow) for the visit up Maine. That was quite a drive for you as I checked and it’s about a 2 hour drive from Portsmouth, NH! The house was lovely and I saw many things that spoke to me. Perhaps because I did not have furniture that I hoped to have when growing up (I’ve ALWAYS loved period furniture, and I am not referring to mid century 😮) I have cherished the furniture I have had as an adult. All that brass cleaner all over the wood didn’t sit well with me but I discovered a new wood product because of the initial sorry state the piece was in! TY Linda. Your dining room looked so warm and inviting when you finished. Love that feeling of satisfaction when I’ve completed any project.

Beautiful video! Willow is enjoying the beach area.🥰 your fall leaves are gorgeous, here in NW Pennsylvania just a few trees are changing. My mom loved fall so I usually take my dogs in the car and drive around and smile with warm memories of my mom❤ Same as when I hear someone say did I turn off the iron😁 which I heard my mom say all the time when we as a family left the house. I always laugh!

We have a couple maple trees in our back yard, they are beautiful but such a big job raking and bagging up all the leaves once they fall from the trees. 😳

We were just in New England from the Chicago area for a lovely trip. We have been several times, and especially in autumn my favorite time of the year to be there.
That is definitely a storybook cottage, and isn’t that such a beautiful part of Maine? I enjoyed your tour of the foliage, and I think that we are at peak colors here in the Monadnock region. By the way, I recently purchased two items in your little shop…some pewter wall sconces, which look very nice in my home, as well as the apple orchard scented candle….it smells like I’m baking an apple pie!!
