How to counter Yorick in the new season:
- Pick absorb life
- Build Static Shiv
=> Suffer as you heal your opponent with your own damage source as well as take a free 90 magic damage undodgeable poke when they AA the ghoul once every 3s (Get worse when Maiden is up)

I enjoyed watching your insights on the patch notes sloggerdogger. I main Akshan and the changes to him seemed big at first, started to feel whatever, and now I really only feel it during the mid game at like levels 8-13(before getting more points in W). I would think the Q movespeed changes would affect the Yorick-Akshan matchup by a lot but I don't play top lane a lot so I'm not sure. Ult buffs shouldn't do much to affect the matchup either since maiden would still only take like 10 damage from his ult anyways.
Shout-out to Riot Phreak for "increasing the reliability" of Akshan by buffing the least reliable ability and nerfing the most.
