- GUSTO NYO UNG MASARAP AT WALANG PAIT NA AMAPALAYA GUISADO??? GANITO LANG KADALI ANG DAPAT GAWIN!!!
INGREDIENTS
-2pcs chopped onions
-1head chopped garlic
-3pcs chopped red tomatoes
-400g pork belly sliced into strips
-1Tbsp fish sauce
-ground black pepper
-2pcs bitter melon thinly sliced
-3pcs large beaten eggs with 3pinches of salt..
-NOTE!!! "if" you like to lessen the bitterness of the bitter melon, (optional)
-4Tbsp salt
-water enough to submerge the thinly sliced bitter melon

Pinaka ayoko sa lahat ng gulay ang AMPALAYA, Pero masarap yan lalo na nakakatulong sa pampababa ng low cholesterol sa may Highblood at Diabetis, pero in short sa hugot! Masakit ang AM-PALAYAIN siya. Keep it up sir/ma'am.

To non Pilipinos we have weird palate for loving ampalaya. We crave for it in the same dishes , either pinakbet or sautéed with pork (pinakupsan) with eggs added at the end.
I learned something here. Brining it to reduce the bitterness. I was going to introduce this vege to my 9 month old grandaughter eventually. Thanks so much for this valuable tip .

yup.. para po sa ating nakaka-kain ng mapait, mas okay po na di tanggalin ang pait.. pero sa mga di pa po sanay na nakakakain ng mapait tulad ng mga batang tinuturuan pa lang kumain ng ampalaya, okay dn po ung may alam tayong teknik sa mga ganung pagkakataon para makatulong sa maliliit na batang matutong kumain ng ampalaya.. pag sanay na sila, pwedeng di na gawin ung teknik na un.. maraming salamat po sa pang-unawa.. 😉😊

I tried it last night ,the ampalaya still taste bitter..
If you followed the exact measurements ingredients and procedures that I gave, then you really have a low tolerance of bitterness.. Then I highly suggest to think of it as good news.. As the bitterness of the bittermelon is one of it's healthy traits and it's still there for one to have.. 😊😉 Thanks a lot for understanding.. 😊😉
