That looks great! I have been on Atkins for 25 years and have kept off 82 pounds. My wife and I both make a lot of casseroles because they only require one dish and no crust. Easier to make and lower in carbs. You can make just about anything into a casserole. Great job!

That dish is one of my favorites, just make sure you get hot dogs that are low in carbs.
I'm a picky keto cook and this is good. If you are on the fence, get off and make this! It instantly became a family favorite. I made it for the first time last week, and we made a double batch today for supper. I don't have any premade chili seasoning, so I had to throw something together for that part, and we liked a little more sweetener. It lends itself well to being made your own way. Great choice on this one, guys. :)

Made it tonight, was super tasty! Mine was a bit watery and oily though so I think next time id cut it down to half cup of water or cook the chili part down way more. This was fantastic!

I changed a couple things because I forgot to buy pepper and onion but it was still great! Used dry rib seasoning instead of chili. Paired with some broccoli and it was amazing! Thanks

Did you boil the hotdogs first or just raw?
@@LisaK-wi2sv most hot dogs are fully cooked before packaging. You could eat them straight out of the pouch...not that I would.
The 20? 30 minutes in the oven will heat them through.

Looks yummy. We need to take a casserole this weekend for an event...I think this will be the one. My cooking instincts tell me to try two things. Replace the chili mix with McCormick's Sloppy Joe mix. I accidentally did that with my chili and love it so much more. Second, I would sauté and brown up the hot dogs a little before adding them to the mix. Just some suggestions that I will try. Great job on the Keto Kitchen! Sarah is so pretty!
Hey Jessie! Thanks for the comment and the suggestions. I like the one about browning the hot dogs. I've also been thinking this might work good with a low carb sausage as well, maybe a hot link. One of the things I've learned when you make this recipe is that your Ground Beef needs to be really fine, I think the original recipe even mentioned using the GB in a food processor...My daughter absolutely loves this dish. Stayed tuned we've got more videos coming out, and I'm even in front of the camera! Feel free to share the videos with your friends...Go Astros!!

What's the purpose of using sweetener?
@@rockymountainprincess9078 Many recipes with crushed tomatoes or sauce call for a little sugar to help offset the acidity. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure that a non-sugar sweetener would function the same. This sounds like someone just converted a recipe. The sweetener really isn't necessary, in my opinion.
