Btw, I am also a Latino gay man, and I tell you, read your history. The trans and non-binary community have been at the forefront of our fight for equality, for all of us, including you. Starting with the Stonewall riots, the HIV crisis, our right to serve openly in the military, the fight for marriage equality, the continuous fight for anti-discrimination laws, for access to medical care, and so on and so forth, our trans and non-binary siblings have always been among the leaders that fought for all of it. You and I are just lucky to live in a time where we can simply enjoy what the have accomplished for you and for me. Ideally we should now support them as the world still continues to send hate towards them. But if we don’t feel like helping, then at least let’s not make things worse for them. So please, educate yourself, stop being ungrateful and hateful, and have some dignity to not put your ignorance at full display. You don’t constructively help the conversation with ignorance and hate. As my grandmother used to say, if you don’t have anything good to say, then better not to say anything at all!
