      Thanks Amador! Ah yeah that shield I got it back in the days the SRTForums had just started, a member there was doing them (that's how long I been in the SRT world LOL) Cheers!

      @@AlexAutoFun I figured man. Loving that Mopar emblem on top. I guess for now I have to settle for the modern performance one.
      At the moment I'm dealing with a P0304 code. In the past, if you have encountered this issue, what was the soulution. I know it can be several things and as of today I've tested plug wires and spark plug number 4 for resistance.
      I'm moving to the o2 sensor now. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your detailed videos!

      @@Madderz007 You're welcome! Ah I have not encountered P0304 but sounds like the possibilities you mentioned are close the the issue. That being said, misfires can be caused by several things, including, an actual mechanical issue with the engine, Fuel Injectors, Coils, Wiring (and in extreme cases PCM) etc. Take a look at your service manual for that code an you can see all the potential causes for that issue. Cheers!

    I have seized plugs! Any tips on removing? I actually broke a 3/8 ratchet trying to break it free.

    • @AlexAutoFun
      @AlexAutoFun  3 года назад

      Wow they must be seized pretty bad! I have used this liquid amzn.to/2EJ0wB7 in the past to break bolts and seized spark plugs. The key is that I leave it for about half our, just soaking into the threads, then I try to either tighten o or loosen it, just a bit, that way more of the liquid travels into the threads. It takes some time but with patience and ton of this liquid it seems to always work. Let us know how it goes and thanks for watching slow srtfo!

      Hi DjChaconLSU, I heard some folks had better results using colder plugs, which they also have the advantage of letting you turn up the boost later and not having to worry about changing spark plugs again, thanks for sharing your input bud!

    Hey quick question I have a 05 srt4 with turboxs BoV, upgraded intake, a MPx catch Can what should I gap my spark plugs ?

    • @manuelhurtado1592
      @manuelhurtado1592 3 года назад

      I’m pushing 15 pounds I wanna say so that’s stock I’m assuming

    • @AlexAutoFun
      @AlexAutoFun  3 года назад +1

      Hi Manuel! Typically people run 0.038"-0.040" for the Stock Turbo, and bigger turbos (Higher Boost Levels): normally they run then at 0.032" - 0.036" The higher the boost, the smaller the gap gets. But It's a little bit of trial and error since each car reacts differently, but hopefully his will give you a starting point bud!

      @manuelhurtado1592 3 года назад +1

      Thank you I’m new In the Srt4 life so I’m trying to learn to work on these cars slowly but I gapped them at .040 car seemed to run fine now no more check engine light for the misfire so thanks for the info!
