My all time favorite haircut! It helps manage thick curly/wavy hair that frizzes in the rain (and frizzes almost all the time now it’s graying). Is a young haircut that looks pretty at any age.
I used to cut my own hair. While layering isn’t impossible, it’s harder than it looks. I can’t do my own any more because I have arthritis in my shoulder and can’t lift it above half-way.

This is not the shag of the 70's, I wish you'd quit calling it that. I was alive then, I had a shag, it was nothing like this haircut. It was more like the Bay City Rollers and both men and women had them. This is not attractive.
