I more so meant that as a way to figure out what record pool you like the most. I’ve tried them all. As of now my three I have membership with at DMS, BPM Supreme, and Club Killerz. New 2020 record pool video coming soon.
yes. its 20 a month. very good music. I left but keep coming back to it because of its different genres. Now they have an app that you can request the download on the fly with an IPad and it will also download to the laptop you want on the fly. Its called Spins.
i Use Clubkillers, but im thinking of hopping around a bit as you are talking about in your video. But i don't really know where to go to now.. thinking of going back to DJ City, havent been there for about a year. good vid m8.
There’s for sure an advantage to bouncing around. Even if you’re getting the same songs. It’s always nice to have a variety of remixes. One thing that’s going to make you stand out as a dj will be variety. I’m very often complemented on my ability to hop genres and that’s all thanks to remixes and redrums.
I had to sub after this video. I'm getting started and this was very insightful. I only use Mymp3 pool right now, but I'll check out the others as well. Peace and love.
Are there any record pools you like for specifically targeting the genres that aren't so mainstream like future house, future bass, jungle terror etc? I feel like all I can find is mainly hip-hop and mainstream, any suggestions or am I out of luck? Seems like BPM supreme is my best bet but I want some other opinions. Is DJ City good for those kinds of genres?

Hey Ivan. I’m not sure where about karaoke videos. Vjstreet.com definitely doesn’t have karaoke videos. I ran karaoke for a few years and I got all my music from a friend when I started and then used a few sites. I don’t remember them all but one was karaokewarehouse.com
@Dj_LoStax start of a new year, I have watched several of your reviews on various DJ Pools. I was using Digital DJ Pool but I need to start adding videos and additional genres like Country and Classic Rock. So, which is the ONE to go with? BPM, DMS, MyMP3, 8th Wonder, etc?
Based on what you are looking for i would go with DMS. They have a good selection of country and classic rock. There is also a country only pool out there too. I can’t remember the name of it right now but i used them when I first got I to country. Smash vids and vj street are my go to video pools.
Hey LoStax! Shout out to you! So I got a subscription to VJStreet and its good but biggest difference say between SmashVison and VJ is the missing Cues and ID3 Meta data tags like genre and artist :( Whats up with that? VJSteet has cues so far only on about 10-15% of what I downloaded and I have downloaded already about 200 vids while SmashVision that I been on for almost 2yrs has multiple cues!!, genre artist etc tags on almost everything I download from them. Do you have any feedback as to why? I like VJStreet but the cues and missing meta data is a definite drag
Honestly I have no idea.. I’ve ran into that same issue with some record pools. The cue point thing never bothered me but the meta tags are a pain. That would be something you could email VJ STREET about and see what they say.. I have a feeling that it’s because they get videos from several different remixers and editions so not all of them are taking the time to add on those things
I currently subscribe to BPM Supreme, but they are slow in releasing new music every fridays and some songs are never released. I'm looking for a Record Pool that's quick to release music. Any recommendations?
I currently use BPM and DMS. I can honestly say I’ve never had just one for the exact reason you mentioned. Especially now days it’s hard for these guys to keep up with the new stuff. Especially when they have to get ahold of the track first and then make a dj friendly edit of it.
Top Hits USA and Promo Only are the best ones. If a company is offering 80s and 90s music and it's not in video form it's illegal. The record labels have rules on how far back legal record pools can go. I use Top Hits USA and I pay $50 a month for almost 300 tracks. I'm a mobile DJ and I need the variety of music.
I'm new to this so let me get this straight. When you get a subscription to a pool. Do you keep all your downloads when your subscription expires or do you lose everything???
Yes you get to keep any songs you have downloaded. Most sites you even keep your same login so all you have to do is reactive payment when ever you want
I use mymp3 rite now but i started out with franchise record pool and went to bpm. Bpm has new hits faster than mymp3 pool so i might go back. I like video also. But i have a budget range because i pay for other stuff too.
hi I got bpm supreme just got it a months don't like it. you search for a song,,, and never get the right stuff...… never.. for example I search hotel California....dont get nothing ...I also search for a lot a latin music can get nothing close that I search... any suggestion?
Request: on a Mac when you download a song it goes straight to downloads how can I make downloads go to a specific folder or go straight into a folder on my external hard drive? I like to download a bunch of music but want it to go to a specific folder thanks.
depending on your web browser you can change the download location in the preferences. i use Chrome and if you go into the setting you can change the download folder from there. just remember to switch it back after so everything you download doesnt get sent to your music folder.
hey i use promo only its good we get releases daily and there in all genres but lie some you mentioned we dont get old track back catalogue but i pay £15 a month and recieve about 200 tracks a month and theres lots of intro mixes cool video by the way
I just signed up to BarBangerz. If you are looking top 40 remixes this is the one to go for. Though, the search feature you said works "really, really well", sucks just as bad as BPM... I filter "Club" only and everything else still pops up. It doesn't filter it at all I have to go manually and look for the filter I want thru hundreds of pages. It doesn't have the option to download dirty, extennded, quick hit, like bpm does. bpm still my favorite but barbangerz definately has more popular songs variety. I dj a club and I need those popular shit. Tho bpm has a lot of the underground shit that I like too.
Sorry man. I Made this video back in 2018. At the time barbangerz has one of the best search features I had come across. I’m getting ready to do a new pool review video for 2020. If you care looking for unique club remixes check out Clubkillers. I’ve been using them a lot lately for my mixcloud mixes.
DJ LoStax no worries! I just thought I’d comment. I wonder why they messed up the search capacity. Definitely, I’ll check out the video man! Thanks for doing them
Yo, I'm searching a dj pool that has oldies!!! Artist like Frankie Beverly, O'jays, Bobby Womack and blues artist like Bobby Blue Bland are hard to find. Most record pools I've come across don't go too far back. I have a main source already for most of my music but I'm still limited. Can you point me in the right direction?
you were spot on about the search problem with MyMP3Pool , they really really need to fix their search engine it's very frustrating . thought about unsubscribing a thousand times
I use BPMSupreme.com and they have videos as well you can only down load each track three times and that does include videos, I keep seeing this ClubKillers I'm going to check that pool out!
My MP3 is great search is shit tho. They don't have much old songs. I don't like when they upload so much of Latin music and afro music. This video is great much help.
DJ LoStax yeah I made the mistake of subscribing for a full year with DMS when I should have been record pool hopping. Don't get me wrong they are great with the selection but they're remixers and editors making remixes for original tracks are not very good. What should I go to next BPM supreme or bar bangers?
Right now I’m hooked on barbangerz.. they have a lot of old school stuff I didn’t have good edits of and their newer stuff is pretty solid. Only complaint is they don’t have any charts.. so you just have to search through using the tags or by song title or artist.. I’ve been trying to just keep up with it Dailey as they add new stuff and sift through what I like
Thanks for your tip I love BPM supreme, My MP3 pool and DJcity( Direct music Service is overrated way too many short edits no original versions, some of the tracks I looked for were 1:45 in length. NOT WORTH THE MONEY EVEN FOR A MONTH
BarBangerz look a lot like most pools I've looked at today. Claim to have almost every genre, but when you look through their stuff, it's all pop, hiphop, "twerk" (whatever that is in musical terms), "rock" (which essentially is hiphop with electric guitars in this case) and trap. No electronica, no house, no dubstep...
I regret watching this. Somehow I ended up being sold on Barbangerz and I was so disappointed that I had to cancel even though their sorry company doesn't allow me to get the rest of the month I paid for because I cancelled. I'm better off losing access than being tempted to waste my time filling up my music library with junk. The final straw on my poor opinion is that to cancel I had to forfeit the rest of the access I already paid for, but the rest of the month wasn't worth risking accidentally paying $35 for an additional month. Honestly, I listen to a lot of DJ's and I wonder why they play such uninspired sets. I think it is cheap, bulk music that is to blame. Even on beatport there are some amazingly cheap releases but as I listen through the samples, out of 40 or even 60 songs I only find a handle I would have added individually to my cart. I'm not opposed to good deals, but if I wouldn't pay $2 for a song why should I let it fill a set? If I use another music pool it will be to bulk up some practice crates, but I think carefully shopping through beatport overtime can lead to a much much better music collection for not a whole lot more than massive piles cost.
Theres so many of them that only use walls.. they think if they still get the kill themselves its not really cheating, their just giving themselves the edge is all..
Hey guys, thanks for watching. here is are links to my equipment. Purchasing through these will really help me grow my channel. Thanks in advance

Severino Laudico DMS

All of these sites are 320
thanks man. but does not make sense for me. i prefer the wav audio quality!
Allavsoft is another new recommended method.
What is Allavsoft & whats it for?
It didnt look like a DJ pool
Can you use DMS if you don't have a website.
I believe so. If there is an issue go ahead and email DMS they do a great job sort customer service
I'll do that, if anything we have a website to the event space/studio we use. I'll start an application w/ that at least.
Does these pools offer DJ friendly edits?
Yea they all do
You should mention that bpm Supreme Is only for dj only
I use BPMSupreme.com and they have videos as well you can only down load each track three times and that does include videos, I keep seeing this ClubKillers I'm going to check that pool out!
Did you have to have insurance, professional webpage and links to events to subscribe to bpm Supreme? That's what they ask me for.
I want to submit to these pools.
Any for updated soca music?
If you quit the service, do you lose the music?
You download all the files to your computer
DJ LoStax and they they don’t keep a DRM on the files?
Not that I know of. I’ve bounced around from record pool to record pool and I’ve never had a song not play after I canceled my membership
My MP3 is great search is shit tho. They don't have much old songs. I don't like when they upload so much of Latin music and afro music. This video is great much help.
Awesome
A good resource is whosampled to
Awesome reviews
Thanks! I’ve used a lot of pools so I figured why not share my experience!
I’ve been trying to just keep up with it Dailey as they add new stuff and sift through what I like
anyone what the best is for just hip hop?
Were u can download mp4
DMS gives you a membership to smashvision. Mymp3pool has videos and so does VJstreet.com
Do the downloads go away after you unsubscribe?
No, all the files are downloaded directly to your computer as mp3 files. Once you download they are yours forever
What about drum n bass?
Beat port is the way to go for that
I tried barbangers and it put a browser control virus on my laptop. Definitely not gonna try that again.
I use Digiwaxx.
I used dj city and 8th wonder which is not featured here. I don’t think dj city is that versatile in genre
why do you say "hey guys"
I think it’s a Midwest thing. We always say “hey guys” or “whats up guys” or “you guys”
👍🏽
i use franchise to very good pool also
As a beginner Dj.. for edm dance house.. which service do you recommend most top 3
edm and house, My house buddies here in New Jersey and Ny use www.traxsource.com/

Select Mix has an Old School series.
