About the miming, you're all wrong and you're all right. The sound was pre-recorded, on set, before the real live performance. They got on there before the show, played it a couple of times, that was it. It sounds live and it sounds different from the album. As simple as that. Has been done for centuries.
They're never miming you fool... Listen to the vocals again and you can clearly hear its live.... Why would James and nina mine when they have such beautiful real voices?!?! :-)
underleonlonliness is bang on. The whole track is mimed apart from James' vocal. He is live. 1:43 is a good example as James is slightly off key, as already stated. Happy new year!!
Nina's singing is playback cause it's definitely straight from the record. James is singing live and there's couple parts where you can hear it clearly. All the instruments are pretty clearly playback also.
Nina @ ultra miming at this live performance, she's moving away from the mic and her voice stays at the same volume so that's definately a mime performance.... :S
And if you're a musician... You must be a tone deaf one, as the vocals are very different! Just listen to the recorded version and this and unless you are tone deaf you will clearly hear the difference.... Please remind me what works you've done? As you're such a great musician lol...
