There have been times when the ROG Ally's screen wasn't quite what I needed for a particular game. I use the Asus ROG Strix portable monitor, it's 144hz 1080p VRR display is more than enough to expand my experience and take it even further beyond.
....Let's talk about the BEST portable monitor for Asus's ROG Ally!

I usually agree with you. BUT AT THIS POINT JUST BUY A LAPTOP
Right cause the ally already comes with a screen just get a power bank for extra juice

@@smidlee7747 by carrying a monitor around the ally actually gets less portable than a laptop.
I would rather just take my ally and a powerbank. I dont get the point of a monitor because then the ally basacally just becomes a laptop.

ROG Ally is more powerful than the Switch but that doesn't make Ally a better handheld than the Switch. There is good reason why the Switch still outsells all PC handhelds put together. Ally is more like a laptop which needs to be plugged in if you want to play more than an hour.
The Playstation Portal is better than the Ally if all you want to do is to play your PS5 games on a handheld remotely around the house. It's only $200.
My laptop outperforms the Ally but what's the point. PC gaming is all about the ability to play my PC games on different hardware.
