That Rutgers running back is special.
Heisman next year?
FRRR
Do they have a WR and a QB?
@@brunsbruns2377 They don’t need one. That’s how special Rutgers and this runningback is. They’ll win the natty without a QB and WR
Probably the RB ended up playing for one of the top four finalist next year.
This genuinely makes me happy the scarlet knights have been a punching bag in the big10 for so long, I am happy for R and their fan base 💪
Great job by Rutgers to finish the season with a bowl win and winning record for the first time since 2014. Keep chopping!
Good performance by Rutgers making a statment for their last game of the season the future is looking bright.

That's really funny 😂🤣😂🤣

Rutgers was pretty good this year.. ask Miami
Rutgers was a sleeper team that had a lot of talent during the year, great to see the Scarlet Knights win this bowl game💯💯💯
Rutgers record doesn’t reflect their talent. If you aren’t playing at your fullest they will beat you.
@chesterpanda agreed they're more talented than their record would have you believe. B10 East is brutal but they have a ton of talent, especially on defense and their RB
You mean winning a trash bowl game 😂
@@catlover1394 if that's what you think. Always a hater out there.
They obviously didn’t have that much talent to finish the season 7-6
For all the RB’s that opted out because they declared for the draft, Kyle Monangai showed them what it means to truly improve your stock and lead the team by playing in a bowl game.
I’m a K-State fan but I live in NJ so I always attend Rutgers games to support the state team. I’m proud of their season, great win!
Dang Rutgers came to play. I’m so proud of them shout out to the Big Ten 🎉
Just got back from the game, and it was such a great experience!
Anyone else notice what a gamer #13 on Rutgers was ? After making a tough run after catch in the 2nd quarter he thru a block that sprung a Rb for a touchdown
Dremel!
Walk on to the leading receiver and of course a scholarship and some NIL I would imagine. The kid earned it.
Rutgers is returning nearly their entire defense, their offensive line, and both starting running backs. They may be a force next year if they can get decent qb play.
That's an enormous if. With Wimsatt, they're 8-5 next year. With a QB out of the portal who can actually throw the football, they're likely 10-3.
U mother fuckers are such sensationalists about everything. Ur the problem
@@josephmanno45148-5 will still be good
QB and WR will not be the problem next season…… Key will be TE play! We NEED someone to step up.
I'm a Terp fan but glad to see the win for Rutgers! Recently they see to have great talent and they balled out, deserve the win!

Um lol miami is far far far from a Goliath. ( also alot of starters didn't even make the trip. They either going pro or in the portal. Feels more like an NFL Preseason game. Bowl games aren't what they used to be. It's a shame. Miami hasn't been relevant in 20 years.

Brother that’s old school, vintage power football
I’ve known Schiano since we were about 6 years old. We were always on rival little league baseball teams. Glad to see him get the win!
Im so Happy for Rutgers!
You know, as a Miami fan, we’re supposed to be this big program with 5 national titles and all but our record in bowl games is absolutely abysmal. I’ve been following Miami since about 2008 or 2009 and most of my memories consist of getting hyped for small bowl games against run of the mill teams and then losing.
Thing is Rutgers really isn't a run of the mill team. They're big 10 east and have to compete against Ohio State, Pennsylvania State and Michigan every year. A 6-6 record is tough in that division
Miami chose to be run of the mill
bro been a fan since 2004 when i was 11… its has been so much heart break. each coach we have had has produced one good season (9 wins) that gets you pumped, then they follow it up with awful results the next. it sucks so hard.
we constantly bring in top talent. manny was by far the worst recruiter. Shannon, Golden, Richt, all recruited great. Cristobal recruits at a high level, but lord have mercy we just cant it done on the field.
we have no choice but to hope that cristobal can get us somewhere. 8 more years and a lot of money stands in the way of entertaining a new coach. his situational ability lacks.. a lot. just want to win 9-10 games a year and id be happy. maybe win a bowl game more than once in the next 15 years.
sorry to rant.. us canes fans need therapy
So much potential for Rutgers to be a hotbed of east coast college football 🏈
Rutgers got their revenge from the big east days
Scarlet Knights defeated Hurricanes, this victory set a new historical record. Go Scarlet Knights! Go Rutgers!
Blocked punt changed the game.
Absolutely I was there
Congratulations to Rutgers on your first ever win over Miami.
Good game Rutgers.👍
One of my best friends is a guy with the last name Patel. He did his pre-med at Rutgers.
Really solid game for Rutgers. Man, the ACC is just an embarrassment at this point. They just can't compete with any other P5.
I'm not even an ACC guy and that's just a dumb statement.i am not an acc guy but just a stupid statement. FSU went 13-0 .next your going to tell me how tough the big 12 is? As long as they've got Colorado in the Big 12 they're the joke

Where are your tough conferences????funny pac12 nowhere in sight, big 12 nowhere in sight.your a moron, probably a Colorado fan, zero knowledge of college football.
Mario has 2 timeouts to use in the off season. Well played Sir
It is NOT a tush push, it is THE BUSH PUSH!
Good Job Rutgers!! From a Gopher Fan
If Rutgers had a QB that was even moderately better they’d have an extra 2-3 wins on this season
Nice job Rutgers
Finally a team figured out how to stop the tush push. It's always fundamentals. You have to get lower than the person you're going against.
Go RU!!!
I don’t see why the tush push should be illegal. It’s a battle of wills. The fans love it. It’s just as enjoyable as teammates of a ball carrier wrapped up by opponents pushing him down the field as long as he is still standing.
How could anyone choose them over the Noles smh
I think they have more National titles, and I figure a lot of South Floridians are fans, but at this point... Miami is in danger of losing popularity. FSU is back on track, Gators obviously get a lot of love and would/will get a lot of support if they can become relevant again, and UCF is no joke with getting a lot of support in and around Orlando. but who knows, Miami has been able to keep the nostalgia alive (somehow), and the Turnover chain season a few years ago probably saved them from completely falling off, but they are in trouble now
- #1 for Rutgers will definitely be playing on Sundays.
Congrats to Miami for turning a Rutgers rout into a squeaker.
Congrats to RU for not folding when Miami took the lead.
Congrats to Jacurri Brown for doing so well in his first game.
Congrats to Kyle Monangai for doing what he does, so well.
And Congrats to all the other RU players, who made pivotal plays, as seen in this highlight video.
I hope RU can keep improving to the point they are ranked and winning next year.
My hint: more creative play calling is needed.
Monangai's long runs came after he bounced off a closed hole (Monangai up the middle?) and took it to the outside for a long gain.
Much more deception is needed in the play calls.
Reference Michigan's OC calls to see what I mean.
Great Game!!;
Eh hey! Nice one Rutgers. Way to rep our conference! We'll see you around. Go Big10!
I like Miami's WR Ivan Restrepo (#7). I sure hope the NFL, the XFL, or USFL gives him a fair shot.
Watch out for Rutgers in 2024 Big Ten football. The Scarlet Knights are a sleeping giant in football.
B1G 💪 Rutgers 🙌
If you're a Rutgers fan, you'll love the game. If you're Canes like me, it was an embarrassing loss and may very well be the iconic keepsake in the U of M Hall of Shame.
bro.. its tough being a Canes fan. im rather numb these days. i always tell myself… we could be Nebraska 😅
Perhaps the Georgia Tech last minute fiasco gets the top billing for the U of M Hall of Shame since it was lost on the sidelines, not on the field. @@LilBoiPeep69
The U baby!
I did not follow much of Kyle Flood Coach of Rutgers 2012-2014 - and he was with the team in other capacities more years. I did remember he did not have a great tenure - but just checking - 4 years and the last two when going into the Big 10 - and a 27-24 record and a few bowl games - some recognition do as he made the bold actions with not so much of resources
Gald I didn't see this game live at a pub in Australia as at the end of the 2nd Q (1st halve), I'd be very pissed off.
wow had no idea this was in Yankee Stadium. Literally right across the river from me. I should of gone
The punt block isn't a missed assignment. It's a failure on the special teams coaching or head coaching team strategy. How the heck do you protect a punt that deep in your own territory with only 6 players? They were at a disadvantage from the time the ball was snapped. 7 rushers, 6 blockers, on a punt! Wow.
Rutgers was really having a home field advantage. I mean, the school is not too far from New York. The bottom line is The Scarlet Knights physically😊 beat up The Hurricanes.
They bullied them 😂
Rutgers had a full team. Miami was missing 14 players 😅
@@georgelopez6485Miami backups still should have won the way they recruit
@@georgelopez6485not true. Rutgers have missing players as well. Star DB didn’t play due to the NFL.
Miami fans always blame the coach. 20 years of bad coaching? It's the program in general. People more concerned about partying and beaches in Miami than being good at football.
At least when the CFL is on, we can watch 4 or 5 games per week in the regular season. Easier to see and follow 😊
I wanted Miami to win but I'm not sure the first touchdown should have counted he starts his slide at the 2 and technically that kind of slide is used when someone is giving them self up and the play is dead when the slide starts. 1st and goal from the 2
The Big 10 East is such a physically challenging conference that when the Rugers face teams from other conferences, they dominate opponents in the trenches and represent the Big 10 admirably in non-conference games. Finally, newbies to the PAC 10 league have no idea what to anticipate in terms of physicality week in and week out, so don't be shocked if some teams are physically worn out by the end of the season because big 10 offensive lineman are just as big as NFL offensive and the Rutgers scarlet Knights proved the point against the Miami Hurricanes.
At least MIami is good at paying recruits!

Rutgers with all that sweet Big 10 money was going to get better eventually.
All time low for the Miami program. Losing to Rutgers and Greg Schiano. And no I don’t care who was playing or sitting either. Cristobal may be about to recruit but he’s one of the worst gameday coaches you’ll ever see always with the most undisciplined team on the field. He should just be an elite recruiter/ OL coach on a great staff. Not the actual HC…
Greg Schiano is a good coach. He's coached Rutgers in the past and had some solid seasons with them. Rutgers did well this year. Give them some credit.
