#14 on Rutgers is a terrible lead blocker, maybe pull him next time you run that fake, that would have easily been a touchdown if he blocked one guy. And this is coming from a buckeye fan

Ohio State didn’t look like the #1 team in the country in this game. Credit Rutgers for really giving them a run for their money today, and I expect Ryan Day to tell his guys to focus on the task at hand next week against Michigan State

Who looks like the number one team then? Every top 5 team has struggled against teams at some point this season... Ever thought maybe competition has gotten tougher🤔with the new NIL deals these teams that used to be terrible have NIL money to give to a few star players that would've never thought to go to these schools...
greg schiano used to be ohio state's defensive coordiantor, so he knows ryan day and his offense pretty well. plus rutgers is a pretty good team. i expected rutgers to make this game very tough for ohio state.
Rutgers is a top 10 defense in the nation this year lol. definitely a lot better of a team than what they can typically put together

If we’re being fair, they haven’t “looked” like the #1 team all season. Honestly, I could argue none of the top four teams have looked like the number one team, but this is still a really really good Buckeyes team,
that has arguably the best defense in the country. Marvin Harrison Jr. is one of the best players in the country. Trayveon Henderson and our run game, along with an offensive line that has gotten a lot better. Yes, we have a young quarterback, but McCord is playing better each game. I also love the way they’ve been playing more aggressively. So let’s give the buckeyes some credit they are number one for a reason.
I'm a Buckeye, but I agree. Still in the 2002 season the only game OSU covered was the National Championship.

I turned on the game to see the Ohio State defense in action. On the other side, I was really impressed with Rutgers' defense, which boasts no fewer than 4 to 5 starters that will ultimately wind up playing on Sundays. The progress Rutgers has made since joining the Big Ten is quite remarkable. It's safe to anticipate that the newbies from the West will be shocked to find themselves in the trenches with the Big 10's size and and defensive speed.
Rutger QB in deep mess with the mobs that why he threw this games twice. But nobody can see it. Go back and look at the 2 interception. Look at everyone on the whole field then look what he didn’t do
I am sick of watching McCord throw these short passes. When you need 10 yards, the receivers aren't going past ten and the quarterback isn't throwing it beyond 10 yards. It drives me nuts!!!!

Georgia moves to #1...probably. Alabama is going to make a strong run here. The B1G will not/should not get two teams in. The CFP looks to be, far and wide, the most open it has been...but these thing seem to work themselves out much more clearly than expected.

Wow the Refs sucked this game. He was out of bounds on the 15 yet they mark it on the 11. Holding on both sides, illegal motion before Kate's big catch in the 3rd. I could keep going, not all of them are in the highlights but the game itself.

I have trouble with the running play calling. The ones where everyone watching knows when trevian henderson is going to get the ball and is always stopped because of it. Still, imo, he's the best running back in the country! Just wish they learn to call his number at the right time, cause it's been like this since he was a freshman.
Pretty cool, after a commercial break they were playing Gimme Gimme Gimme by ABBA. I couldn't believe it, an ABBA song at a Big Ten game. As for the game, The Bucks took care of business against a good team.

OSU fan... OSU #1? Ridiculous. McCord doesn't have the touch, good on bullets, but can't throw rainbows. Receivers were open all game long, but needed rainbows. Stroud wouldn've thrown for 500 and scored 50.

Why are the OSU games NOT televised on the BIG10 network anymore? I'll wager it has everything to do with MONEY. I can't even listen to the announcers on these other stations...SO anti-OSU, so I turn the sound off. The bias is SO obvious.

I-O. Wanted to get out this game without injuries. That didn't happen. Proctor, Ransom, Eichenberg, Stover, Flemming, McCord, Burke and Ebuka. Since this a safety built defense you gotta get Proctor and Ransom back.
It sure seems like theres been a lot more injuries the last couple seasons than I ever remember in 20 years as a serious OSU fan. Is it because Day is more forthcoming with injuries than previous coaches or is because Day is doing something thats causing more injuries?

Its been almost every single game this season that the buckeyes leave points on the feild in the first half that would make these games look and feel a little different than they have. This week it was the dropped passes that kept us from potential scores. When is Kyle Mcord ever going to put together a COMPLETE game??
He's the typical OSU quarterback of late...either over-throwing the ball, or under-throwing it. No consistency.

Hinzman is awful. Even from the first 3rd down for OSU. Constantly gets beat
McCord is careless with the ball, as he often does. Ryan Day's play calling sucks all game long. Offense coaching is bad, Knowles soft zone Defense leaves big gaps for opponents to rush and pass in big chunks, and he does not seem to notice that, game after game. Ryan Day's impotent Offense (1 TD in a whole half) puts the whole game on Defense, and the Defense gets tired. Buckeyes' Offense is not a material that can beat Michigan or win big games

because previous seasons don't affect this season's rankings. the truth is georgia's best win, prior to today, was an average florida team. they may jump to #1 after beating missouri, but honestly missouri hasn't beaten anyone good either. their best win was a 3 point win at home against kansas state. whereas ohio state beat penn state, and won at notre dame. even though nd has 3 losses, that's still a better win than florida , and at least on par with beating missouri at home. if georgia runs the table, they will be the 1 seed going into the playoffs, with ole miss and tennessee (road game) still on the schedule, and most likely alabama in the sec title game.
