@@DennisBarrera oh I actually am using a Google pixel 6 pro currently, but I heard from I've seen it's accurate, Google initially made it so you could check the temperature of other people, but It had to get approval from FDA to check the temperate of humans. Personally I think it's a fun thing to mess around with, but it would be really really useful when you can check people's temperature with it. Also a question if you had to pick between Galaxy s23 ultra or pixel 8 pro which one would it be ?
@@unknown-zo4tk man that's a thought on it depends on if your a photo or video person or both. Also if you preference is hardware or software.

I've had IPhone before and Samsung Galaxy, but I think my next phone would be a Google Pixel phone. It's definitely unique in its own way.
I agree honestly if you had to make me pic one I would go with the pixel. As much as I love Samsungs build quality and specs. The pixel is always an easy phone to go back to always regardless if you are coming from an iPhone or Samsung.

Great video, thank you! I've been toying with the idea of buying this phone all night and this video has finally given me the unbiased, in-use review I was looking for. I was wondering, when transfering and copying from another Android device, does it also copy over messages, settings and login details etc for, eg, WhatsApp or would message apps require backing up first?
Hey! Thanks for watching my video! I’ve noticed messages transfer over when going from iPhone to pixel or Samsung to pixel. And for what’s app now it lets you send a code to your old device and that way you put the new code in your new device and it saves all your messages! All your apps will download when you transfer them without any issues.

I returned my iPhone 15 Pro Max today and am waiting for my Pixel 8 Pro to arrive tomorrow. I am so excited to go back to Android. IOS is so stale.
I agree! iPhone is just if you want a phone to do the bare minimum just call text email and photos here and there. With android I feel like the possibilities are endless !

@@DennisBarreramh ok sounds legit but which more possibilities Do you need on a phone? Mostly texting browsing Web take pictures etc
@@FWild-eb1rdgame emulation, file management, downloading apps outside the appstore, and more customization

I have been using the pixel all day and it handles like a dream, I will sure miss OnePlus' supervooc charging. Other that the pixel is amazing if not better, only complaint I have so far is that the 3 button navigation can't be customized. For example, on the OnePlus I had the back arrow on the right and on the pixel it's on the opposite side. With OnePlus I could change the locations of the 3 buttons. Not sure if I can with the pixel but I haven't been able to do it so far.
Hey Dennis, I have the same phone. You first need to go into Settings, Display ... Then put it on its highest resolution

@@BeerforBreakfastFactsforSnacks yea I agree I love android on the pixel I used to be a hard core apple guy. But I also but Google nest cameras around my house and the ecosystem made sense!
pixel is a great phone. I had a 6 Pro for a quite some time & it's so smooth in every ways. the only thing that annoying is the fingerprint scanner. its optical
I agree! We need the super sonic finger print sensor ! But I’m pretty sure if they did they will probably raise the price! 😐

I got rid of my iPhone 15 Pro Max a couple of weeks ago and got the Pixel 8 Pro in Bay Blue and I've got 2 say I really like it the only thing I miss is the better battery life and face unlock on the 15 Pro Max. The battery life isn't bad on the Pixel 8 Pro but it's not as good as the 15 Pro Max.
Yea I agree. Although I’m thankful the battery has gotten better on the pixel over the years!
@@DennisBarrera I've jumped between Pixel and iPhone for years if the Pixel 9 Pro looks like the renders and they improve the battery and face unlock I'll never go back 2 iPhone

@@FWild-eb1rd you're welcome ! And so far I'm loving it. With older pixel phones it felt like you were always compromising for something either a low quality screen or a bad speaker. But this years pixel came out on top!
@@FWild-eb1rd going from iOS to android is tough at first specifically if you've never had an android. But the pixel and the software make it easy it's like another version of the iPhone bc the software great. I've found the toughest part of switching is not you it's the people around you. But people get used to it

Does it feel smaller than the Pixel pro 7?
It feels the same sizes. Only thing you will really feel a difference on is the flat display.

How are you using the phone with the $800 Apple watch ultra?
I'm just using it alone not paired. Just for the time to be honest. I actually paid less then 800 bc when I bought it at the time I used to work at apple!

I was about to comment about it, I'm pretty sure you need an iPhone to activate the watch. That's the reason I don't like Apple, they make you hook on their software/ products. Google isn't far behind though, however not too bad😮

@@CG-ql5rryea I spent good money on the watch and I figured even though I'm not using my iPhone I will still use the watch. At least to tell time and to be honest when I don't have it on I feel weird 😂
