People have criticized the performance on the 8 and 8 pro but from everything I've seen they look amazing. I also agree I prefer the design of the 8 series over the s24 series. The 8 pro in particular looks sleek hardware wise over the s24 ultra that is big, boxy and heavy. In alot of ways I even prefer the new Pixel design over the iPhone 15s. It all comes down to personal preference but I am leaning towards getting the 8 later because I like the compact size and that sharp Hazel color.

Now a phone being able to use as a "console" like if Samsung can do it with Dex and or the "iPhone" being able to play Resident Evil on a TV is something only the future holds but gaming on a phone nahhhh. I skipped the s24U and kept my 23U and tried the 8 pro and it's fire I don't even mess the extra Samsung stuff at all yet. Way more polished android!

Mobile gaming isn't super popular in western countries but I get why people would want their Fortnite, Genshin, PubG and Cod Mobile to work on flagships.

It is a great phone and I loved mine. EXCEPT the USB output isn't compatible with all USB DAC/Amps for wired IEM and headphones and also the USB isn't compatible for a lot of USB-C external microphones. Being a content creator that reviews audio equipment and uses a USB-C external microphone, that was a major issue. Everyone likes what they like , for me I was always a dyed. In the wool galaxy note boy starting with the note 2 , back in the days when samsung was all about maximum features and making the do all be all phones , then Sammy changed and wanted to be the apple of android , and started degrading the S series phones , removing features , galaxy note 9 was my last and favourite galaxy which i still have and rotate in my phone usage, I did have some other android phones G5 , nexus 6p , Huawei p30 pro , , then the iPhone 12 series came out and i gave that a go for the first time ever using an apple device (bloody near killed me ) , i hated it for the first 3 months IOS that is , i liked the hardware , bought an ipad , since bought the 14 pro max , also have the pixel 8 pro , and while i`m not and have not been a pixel fan , and even after buying it wasnt blown away , i have to say it growing on me .
Its not perfect ( and no phone is ) , the Face ID sucks in poor light and is utterly useless at night , the finger print sensor is like a metal worker it often goes on strike and just is very hit and miss on my unit at least , and we all prefer certain things , I like big wide devices which are better on the eyes for looking at everything , and more size and width gives old farts with big clumsy mechanics Hands a bit less pain using the keyboard which is so frustrating when you have chunky fingers and tiny keys , so i wouldnt mind if it was wider in the next model.
General performance in most cases is ok,its sorta weird that in some areas like camera processing it can be a bit on the slow side where even my iPhone 12 Pro leaves it for dead , but in other areas like loading apps often it is truly blistering fast ,all things weighed up , i still like it and i agree google is heading in the right direction , i also hope they dont lose the camera bar on the back.

    • @AllLove0307

Yeah I'd prefer SD8Gen2 or 3 for switch emulation but Tensor 3 can do it. It just can't be super intensive on the GPU like say Pokemon Violet or something with a vast 3D world. Zelda? Forget it lol.
Every other emulator it handles very well, thanks to the devs for optimizing their apps for it. It's really the best Pixel that Google has made since maybe the 5a. I wonder if Google can work with TSMC and tailor the Tensor to work with Adreno GPU and still have all of their AI magic and personal assisting capabilities

Here's the deal I really need your help with this guys cause I'm really struggling. I'm having a really difficult time with Apple right now I have all their products I have the Apple Watch Ultra which I really like probably my favorite Apple product and then I have my iPhone 15 Pro Max Win terabyte I have a MacBook Pro I have a 2018 iPad Pro Still works great but here's my issue. There's no multitasking on my phone which is killing me and my iPhone 15 Pro Max feels exactly like my iPhone 13 Pro Max, which felt like my iPhone 11 felt like my iPhone X and so many ways. I don't know if I'm going crazy, but it's really hard to buy the same phone over and over again and Siri is complete garbage and I really want company is going to lean into AI and also lean into strong features like multitasking and things that Samsung is doing and I think someone said it when they said Apple wants to sell you multiple products so if they make one product better than the other product, you might just buy one product. I feel that way about the iPhone if it were as good as the Samsung phones with multitasking in AI maybe wouldn't buy that tablets me know your thoughts I'm just getting bored with Apple and I feel like they never really innovate that much and I'm use all their default apps because I try to support the stock situation but I really find myself bored. Let me know if you can help me through this, I wonder if I should get a Samsung S24 ultra or S25 ultra down the line to feel something different.
Have you guys ever felt this way here's another thing voice texting on iPhone is painful. I remember having android phones and really appreciating how accurate the voice texting was that actually actually bumps me out about Apple to. Also, how can you sell? A premium smartphone has to have such a terrible assistant. Siri literally feels like they just forgot and literally don't care anymore.
Thoughts 💭 make it make sense I didn't wanna leave Apple, but I feel like apples leaving me and it's really hard to make sense of it all right now.
