- Armwrestling max effort training, today doing pronation and backpressure. Today didnt brake any huge records, but managed to do pronation with strap in hand with 52 kg, not clean, but thats a huge weight. Left arm feels tight and sore, other than that, feeling great!

But why go increments of 10kg when you get close to max? Add 5 kg and do more reps with 67-69? And them attempt 72? Also last exercise, put weight on high surface so that you do the reps only and not have to lift big weight into starting position? This can give more focus to main lift and more quality reps.
@@dark-o Because previously i did 72. Also by doing lot of small increments you get more tired than doing two increments of bigger weight, so its better to go for max weight right away, if you lift it you lift it, if no thats fine, will come back next time.

No never have done rice bucket
Rice bucket is used more as a recovery. It helps with finger extensors. Used by climbers also.

@ Thanks I'll check it out. It would be cool if Coach Ray and Janis produced a high quality vid of your matches though. Livestreams are often horrible compared to HD footage. I'll take what I can get though.
