This still stands out as the best concert they've ever performed! The whole thing is amazing. Matt's vocals are definitely the highlight for me, he was in his prime at this show and sounded perfect!
They use a recording for Rev parts in every live. Because they all want Rev still part of their Journey.

They went to Mike portnoy for the album Nightmare. They had Arin Ilejay for 4 years and the album Hail to the King. Brooks Wackerman joined and released The Stage Album, and they used the Revs recorded voice live for songs he sang on......listen to critical acclaim from the same concert to hear the Rev Sing.
"Afterlife" or "Critical acclaim" from this live show is fkn amazing
Even after 2 months, I completely agree with this, the Duel between Gates and Zacky is so good in Critical Acclaim
you guys should watch the breakdown they did for this song since there is a lot to unpack. I'm not sure if you knew what the song was about but basically the Rev came up with the story and the song. they even had Steve Bartek from Oingo Boingo (the band that Danny Elfman is in) come in and do all the strings in the song. and as you can tell all the members did vocals at some point in the song.

That’s a great venue for concerts , I have seen Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Children of Bodom, and many others there. The only time I’ve seen Avenged live was at the Rose Bowl when they opened up for Metallica.

Check "Fiction" or "Save Me" Unfortunately there is no live version of fiction with the Rev singing as far as I know. There is a live version where they use his recordings. "Save Me" is a bit like "A Little Peace Of Heaven" in a way that is has many changes, but not as theatrical.
On a different note how high is you Heavy level atm? Jinjer and Arch Enemy as brutal as you can take or are you up for some next level stuff?
If you are I have 2 suggestions:
1 Slaughter To Prevail - Demolisher (Baba Yaga can also, but it's very graphic)
2 Enterprise Earth - Overpass (starts light with cleans, but gets heavier until the end. Ow and it's and 7+ min song)
Somebody will probably scold me for not putting Lorna Shore here, but i figured that one is a bit to much if you are not used to it.
We will listen to anything. We like a lot of metalcore and djent so yeah. Anything at all!

Actually there are some live versions of Save Me, there's one with an actually pretty good audio quality

Brooks Wackerman is current drummer. And they don't sing full song live so you missed some parts, check out official music video for that.
