OMG, I LOVE my grid guide - I just got the metal one, but being me, I had to get 2, because I know I'll misplace one JUST when I need it. So much easier than counting! Thanks A&O, I suggest this needs a permanent spot in the Accessories category.
I've been using those two notches on the side to make tabs. I don't like cutting out full tabs as it takes away too much of the page I want to use. But those small notches creat the best tab that isn't too deep. Good to know they are for something else too.
Firstly, I absolutely love the grid guide and really enjoyed this video. Secondly, [someone please correct me if I'm wrong] it seems like the grid guide only came with the A5 dot grid notebooks from the fall collection. My friends and family ordered quite a few A&O notebooks at the end of the year. Some were A5 dot grid, A5 lined, B6 dot grid, and travelers dot grid from the retiring collection, the fall collection, and the winter collection. The only grid guide out of all of them was with an A5 dot grid notebook from the fall collection. Please note that none of us ordered a B5. Please note that I am not complaining. It was an awesome free gift. I just don't want anyone to think that they are included with every notebook currently on the website (as of January 16, 2022) because it doesn't look like they are. As to whether they will be included with notebooks that have not been released yet, I don't know. Disclaimer: I don't work for A&O nor do I have access to any secret knowledge. I am only speaking as someone who has seen quite a few notebooks. It would be amazing if they did sell them separately and in more sizes.

Wouldn’t it be better to sell it as an add on instead of with every new journal? Shouldn’t it be sturdy to last with the use of multiple journals instead of needed to have more than one you need and end up recycling them?

It was just a limited production run :) so its a bit of a hunting game for those!
